We are all set for our free dining trip this August.
We have hardly eaten in any table service restaurants in the 6 years we have gone to Disney (only ones we have done was Prime Time, Whispering Canyon and Chef Mickeys).

This year we are going:

Sunday: Ohana's Dinner
Monday: 1900 Park Faire
Tuesday: Boma Dinner
Wednesday: Chef Mickeys breakfast (10:30- more like brunch)
Thursday: CRT (just the girls, me and my daughter) breakfast, and dinner at Le Cellier. The plan is for DH -- a hearty eater to get his own stuff. Daughter will get a kids meal that we will pay in cash. Son and myself will share a table service. He can pick any appetizer, we will split a steak entree, and he can pick the dessert.

Friday: No table service that day.

Saturday: Ohana Breakfast- we wanted another character breakfast but we didn't want Chef Mickeys twice in one trip.

What do you all think?

We are thinking for counters: Tangierine (eaten there LOVED it), Cosmic Rays, (been there), Columbia Harbor House, Mara, Pepper Market, and other places.

Should we keep the 1900 Park Faire? I've read that it is decent and we get to see Prince Charming. Would it be redundant since the girls are going to CRT? I like Cinderella, and would just go to eat the 1900 Park Faire food.

I've never eaten at the GF.

Just curious, what do you mean by "free" dining??

Our trip falls within the free dining package with Disney. We were planning the dining package anyway, and it became a no cost option for us.

Therefore the dining option was credited back to us.

HI CIndyB!!

We are traveling to WDW the same dates as you and are planning to eat at a lot of the same places too!!!!!

We are arriving on 8/28-9/3 and are planning

Sunday--Chef Mickey(Dinner)
Monday--CRT lunch and Hollywood & Vine FDP
Tuesday--Le Cellier (dinner)
Wednesday--1900 Park Faire (BF), Kona (dinner)
Thursday--Wolfgang Pucks (dinner)
Friday--Ohanna's (dinner)

We will be staying at the POLY. Where are you staying? Very curious about what parks you are going to on what days??!!??! I have changed our plans so many times already but I like to hear what others are doing too!!

Here's to NO HURRICAINES :drinking1

We're staying at the Coronado, but we have our own car. We usually go a lot to Epcot/MK, with some trips to MGM and not many to Animal Kingdom.

My DH doesn't like to plan an exact schedule until we arrive, but I have to find and determine which parks what days. We are early risers, so we get up early to open most parks, so this isn't a problem.
