Good news -- the lymphoma is Stage 1a. It's only in her neck area and chest.
Bad news -- She's not going to be able to get away with no chemotherapy. The cancerous area was just too large of an area for them to feel comfortable doing radiation only at this point. However, they are going to do limited chemo (ABVD)and then limited radiation. They'll going to start with the chemo, four treatments (8 weeks) and then follow that up with radiation.
Tomorrow afternoon at 3pm, Nicole goes in for surgery to get a PICC line (temporary catheter) to make the chemo process easier on her. Sometime next week, we'll know the exact date of her first treatment.
Once again, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes -- I appreciate it more than I can ever express.
