Final Questions before I leave Sunday for BCV

I have some Final Questions I know all you disers can help me with before I leave this weekend,

1) Can i redeem my APC for my AP at the BC entrence to Epcot???

2) What do I do with my luggage upon check out (magical Express) ????

3) You can take a boat or walk to MGM from BCV Correct????

4) Question about DVC in general - How many years can you borrow points from??? like if we are in 2008 can you just borrow 2009, or can you borrow 2009, 2010 and so forth. Thanks so much guys. I will try and do my first trip report when I return on the 18th! Thanks

I am guessing about #1, because I have bought ours at MGM and at AK, I assume you can buy it at that entrance. There is a "guest services."

Your luggage will be checked to the airport if you like with ME.

It's a pretty long walk, but you can walk or take the boat to MGM from BCV.

If you are booking in your '08 UY, you can borrow only from '09.

If you are flying on an airline that allows you to check in for your flight at the resort you can check your bags at the same time and you won't see them again until you arrive at your home airport. Any carry on bags can be stored with Bell Services (see note below about retrieving your bags).

If you are flying an airline that doesn't allow you to check in at the resort (Southwest, for example) then you can store all of your bags with Bell Services. Tell them you are taking ME to the airport and ask them what time you need to be back at the resort to retrieve your bags from storage. You need to allow extra time to get your bags from Bell Services and be ready to board the ME bus when it arrives to pick you up.

You will get a booklet in the mail along with your DME tags that explains what you need to do. There have been some recent rule changes about how far in advance you must check your luggage so be sure to read the information carefully. There is also a lot of helpful information about DME on the Transportation board here on the DIS. Check out the "sticky" threads at the top of the page -- there are several that cover various aspects of DME.

Not only can you get your AP at the International Gate, it's the best place to do it! (short lines)
Just be sure to have your DVC card with you if you used the DVC discount! They will ask for it.

Technically you take the boat from the Yacht Club pier. The walk to MGM is a little over a mile.

1) yes just over the hill - walkings is the fastest way to get to Epcot from BCV

2) depends upon your airlines - but I agreed with LisaS - just check the stuff you are send. If you haven't received anything - CALL THEM NOW!!!!
they may not have you - you won't be allowed to bother the bus in your name is not on their list.

3) yes

4) you can only borrow from the next year, you can only bank to the next year.

so if you year is 2008 - you can bank 2007 and borrow 2009 - but that is it.

then in 2009 you won't have any points but you can then borrow from 2010....
