Final Payment By Mail

We have reservations for a 6 night MYW package plus dining and owe 400 dollars and we will be paid off. Just got the tax refund and was going to mail Disney a money order for the final payment. I am a little worried about it getting lost in the mail, etc. I am planning on sending it certified. Has anyone else mailed in final payments before and had a problem? If you have mailed yours in how long did it take to receive the final documents showing they had received it. I'm hoping about a week after I mail it I can call to see if they have received it and a CM would be able to tell me my balance is zero but I was wondering how long that would take to get into their system. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have always paid mine over the phone, so I don't know about this, but thought I'd give you a

I have always paid by phone. But if you are sending directly, I recommend cashier's check and use fedex with signature or certified mail. That was you have confirmations with a cashier's check(from bank) and a signed signature.
