Youre quite welcome. I have a couple popcorn gifs and enjoy using them.

I love all the pre trip reports and countdown threads and just booked threads we've had in the last year or so. Helps those of us stuck at home feel some of the excitement buildup you must feel.

so you all know Mmketeer and I talked and we have pushed back our trips by one week, just to extend the excitement. So we are now both back to double digits.

Let's just hope since their has been a serious amount of dry weather the last two weeks around here that it's not gonna be a complete wash out at the Fort this week. Just in case I scheduled all FP for after 7pm on Friday at MK. Hopefully the showers will be done and pushed over to the West coast by then.

Oh boy.. 2.5 days till we hit the road 5 days till we arrive !!!! Taking 2 day trip over 3 days. instead of hauling 1100 miles 2 days, we are doing 1100 miles over 2.5.

... I was working in the camper, building a shelf in the bathroom.... making the wife happy. No power to the drill... or any outlets.. Oh crude

call dealer to trouble shoot ... the "ID 10 T" bug had hit me hard. Had power running off battery even though I had plugged cord in camper. Did not plug into extension cord into wall..... Yah, I rock

Got three shelves to build tomorrow. One for the back room, pantry and medicine cab.

get clothes moved for the group + dog goods. grab mickey lights out of xmas box, string fishing rod and my almost new $2 reel got from pawn shop for the kids.

Also have two peices of lexan coming thrusday to install for storm door,so I can watch the armadillos waddle through camp. Do you think I could get a two lizards to race armadillos????

Final once over for car, check tranny/brake and steering fluid. Also getting alignment done. already done air filter/ oil/filter Mobil 1 and changed shocks to rancho 9000 XL last month.

Food and stuff almost packed. Have leaf blower, carpet and charcoal chimney to add.

Getting there, feeling good, but realizes it will be a rush to pull out.

Thanks! I plan for a safe trip but, this is the first time my wife has rode with me to the Fort, I usually travel with my daughter and sometimes my mom if she is going down, but never my wife and she sees every car pulling out and changing lanes wayyyy before anyone else, but will be fun! Mmketeer, hope you had a safe trip and hope to run into you while we are there!

I know what you mean, my wife is the same way.

Nothing worse than trying to control your truck and TT while passing a semi when all of a sudden here comes your wife's hand in front of your face pointing out a flapping tarp on a truck on the opposite side of the interstate.

I thought it was just her schooling at Ole Miss, but I see you have one too...
