"The consolation prizes will range from approximately $2,500 for the first person voted off the island, to approximately $100,000 for the runner-up. "

I heard 3rd runner up gets $85,000.

I seem to remember that the published the amounts for the final four on the first Survivor, but since then they have been very tight lipped about the prize money.

I also have read that each person who is on the Jury gets a cash prize.

All-Stars has a different payout system. The minimum amount recieved was $25000.

I found this unofficial info on another site. I'm certain that the payout for All-Stars had to be altered due to the nature of the game.

It is in $15,000 increments to a point. The prizes quoted were
1st - $1 mil
2nd - $100,000
3rd - $85,000
4th - $70,000
...
9th - $27,500
16th - $2,500

I never even realized that anybody besides 1st and 2nd place got any money. Hmmm. . . .I wonder if I could handle 3 days just for the $2500 .
