I used CVS for film developing the first time this week. I had some gift cards from coupons and thought it was about time to get a few of the pictures from our WDW trip last year
I've used Eckerds before because I got discounts there but I don't anymore and CVS is closer so I thought I'd give them a try.
The pictures were fine but they really seemed clueless about things. The price was supposed to be $5.99 with discount for a 24exp. I had asked for an index print and they weren't real sure how to get that but put a note on the envelope and I did get it. The price on the envelopes was $10.13 ?? they weren't sure where that came from, they called the development place trying to figure out where the amount came from. No one seemed to know how much they charge for an index print. Finally after 30 minutes in the store they decided to just ring them up at $5.99 and leave it at that.
Is this normal or is it just the CVS by me? About 3 people were involved with this transaction including the manager so I can't just chalk it up to one clueless person. Not sure if I'll try them again. The pictures were fine though and I do have more film to develop.
