Filling water bottles

Free cups of ice water are given out.
You can pour that/those into your bottle.

What Robo said... and for the love of god, don't fill it up in the public water fountains unless you enjoy the taste of garden hose water.

I have a 40oz hydraflask knockoff from walmart ($13). I keep it on a mommy hook on my sons stroller. I obviously have it filled going into the park, but any time I get a snack or eat, I will always get 2 ice waters and just keep it filled. My family doesn't drink soda so we use 2 of them all the time. The knockoff ones are the same as the hydra flask/yeti because I own the expensive ones and the ice melts the same way.

If the QS place has a self serve soda station, there should be a water tab on one of the soda heads. Not many places still have the self-serve though. Last one we saw was at HS at the restaurant between Indiana Jones and Star Tours. And maybe at Electric Umbrella at EPCOT?

We bring bobbles with us, as they have the filter. We fill up at the water fountains and have found the water to be fine once filtered.

FYI - I've used the soda fountains at Restaurantosaurus at AK and I've heard that there are soda fountains in Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, but I haven't verified that.

I know a lot of folks say "get cups of water from QS restaurants" but every time we've gone into QS restaurants, they are always very busy and the lines are long. Rarely do we find one that isn't busy.

FWIW, my son, daughter and I each carry a Camelbak. My wife can't wear backpacks due to surgeries and back issues, but she carries a couple of bottles of water and refills from my Camelbak. We've found this works for us.

From experience, I can tell you that they will not fill up water bottles for you. There are many other options available so choose the one that suits your needs. And, the personal experience was not mine but an aunt of my husband's who thought that getting a Disney water bottle (which her sister paid for) was going to be the best thing in the world. Let's just say the rest of the trip was not pleasant.

Some of the CS eateries have their soda fountains out where guests can access them, and there's a button for water. In AK, Restaurantosaurus; in Epcot, Sunshine Seasons and the Electric Umbrella, and the Backlot Express in DHS. Be Our Guest in MK has accessible soda fountains with a water button, but that isn't exactly a walk-in place unless you have a reservation. We always refill our water bottles in these places and get ice for them. I can't think of anyplace else in MK - maybe someone else can.

Oh yes!

The water fountain water tastes like Splash Mountain smells if that makes sense hahahaha! I am not a pickey water drinker but the fountain water at Disney is horrible. Get the free ice water from quick service and pour into your own water bottles. So much better!

I always carry a camelback. Really easy to get a couple cups of ice water from QS and just dump them in there. Plus they hold about 3 liters of water and a lot of them have pockets for carrying other stuff around the parks.

Personally I've never found this to be true, but other people's tastes vary.

Still, isn't the water coming out of the drinking fountains the same water that they'd be filling up your ice water cup with???

The Starbucks in each park will give you a lovely large cup of filtered ice water for free. And you don't have to wait in line, if you go to where people are picking up their orders, they have always had them ready to hand out, in my experience.

Hose water tastes better, in my experience. And I still, at least once a summer, take a big drink out of my garden hose. I'm reckless that way.:D

Thank you, this is wonderful advice.

i've seen a lot of people rinsing and wetting frog toggs in the water fountains, avoid them for that reason...
