How much does the fill a Mr. Potato head box cost? I have a friend going and I want her to fill one for my niece. I just need to know how much money to send with her. Thanks!!

It was 20 a few months ago.

Tip: if they already have the potato part...don't waste room in the box. You can use the box for just accessories and really pack them in. We already had a couple of potatoes at home...so my son got like 35 accessories in that box!

Was $20 when I went in Dec. I did hear from a CM that they were possibly going to stop selling the parts. Something about Hasbro not wanting to do it. I'm hoping that's untrue.

I second this, but we learned the hard way...be sure to add some arms...the Disney hands have the ability to hold things...not all Potato Head hands do.

$19.99. Just got it this week. Tell them to ask for help -the people that work there can cram every single piece into the box- including the head. It was awesome. I got it all!

Does anyone know if you are able to get the pieces specific to Disney....about 7 years ago we were able to get mickey head ice cream, mickey balloon, suitcase, and a couple other "Disney" pieces. We went last October and saw nothing of the sort....maybe we weren't looking hard enough??

You can buy the actual Mr. Potato Head from Walmart for about $5 and like PP said, just have it filled with accessories.

You can actually purchase the potato, separate from the box, for $4 at OUAT. A CM told me that when we were stuffing our box. So we left the potato out to make room for more parts!

Unless the stock of Mr. Potato Head has diminished drastically, there's no way to get nearly all the accessories in one box. I've gone twice and filled 2 boxes - with help - and still didn't get nearly all I wanted to.

Yes! But also pay attention to whether they're right or left arms. We came home with three left and one right last time.

I had the same experience in Dec. There might have been one or two Disney pieces but most were generic. I'd love to know if they have them again. I remember seeing a lot of WDW pieces during previous trips.

Exactly....I really want to spend the $20 on the Disney pieces not the generic ones and especially since my son is getting a Mr.Potato Head for Christmas from grandma. I didn't know if anyone experienced the same findings and I am glad someone did!

I wanted to reiterate the arm tip! Make sure you get arms and make sure to get right and left.

I think the stock has dwindled a bit because I usually still have space in my box once I have everything I want

True- I didn't get the Star Wars stuff but I did get every other accessory they had. But only because the woman who worked there was a master at stuffing everything in like a puzzle!

Yes, last week I got the Disney balloons, suit case, disney tickets, Mickey eye glasses, mickey shoes and minnie shoes, Mickey ears and more. there were a lot of Disney/Mickey accessories as well as Star Wars accessories.

Ugh. When we went over xmas there was nothing but Darth Vader/Stormtrooper Helmets and Buzz Lightyear pieces. That was it. I asked the CM where the Disney themed stuff was and she just shrugged. DS was so disappointed, and next trip he will be too old to care. Maybe for his little brother though!

In february it was $19.99. The very sweet CM told us to keep Mr. POtatoe himself out of the box and pay for separately as he was $2.00 for the body and it would save precious space in the box. We ended up with a ton of parts and it was all under $25 with tax!
