I'm heading in the direction of having to file a PayPal dispute for an item I bought. It wasn't a eBay purchase, but in the note with payment on the PayPal transaction, I wrote exactly what the seller and I had agreed on (color and material), but I received something different. I have emailed him several times, and he keeps saying he'll check and see if he has the right item, but at this point, I think I'm getting the run-around. I asked him if I can return it for a refund twice, and no response.
So my question is...if I file a claim as "item not as described", does my specific selection (i.e. totally wrong color vs slightly wrong color) have any effect on the outcome of the claim? Is there a "wrong" or a "right" way to go about this so I can at least get my $ back or the right item?
That's all I really want.
Thanks in advance.
