FIL needs prayers(Update)

I don't normally ask, but I guess its because I haven't had any need in the past, but my FIL needs some prayers. He hasn't been feeling well lately and in the past month has lost about 60 lbs. for no apparant reason. He finally went to the doctor who immediatly admitted him to the hospital for tests. They found polyps during a colonoscopy and we won't find out the results until Friday. I'm very concerned because of the weight loss along with the discovery of the polyps. Please remember him in your prayers and when we find out the test results, I'll let you all know.

Thank you all for your prayers. DH just talked to FIL and the polyps are not cancerous. They are still concerned about the amount of weight he has lost, so they will run some more tests this coming week, but at least for now, good news.

Well, at least you can take a big sigh now that that's over and the results are good. I'm glad to hear everything went well for his past tests. Thank you for updating us. Now let's hope that his weight loss is something that can be easily explained and treated. I will continue to pray for him.

Missed this the other day, Kathy, but know my prayers and best wishes are with your father-in-law. Good to hear they were non cancerous. I had one like that removed several years ago too. Hoping they pinpoint that weight loss issue easily and he is healthy as can be soon. {{Hugs}}
