Figment's original music

Hi:

This may be an impossible request, but I'm trying to find a cassette or a CD with the words and music from the old original Journey into Imagination. Does anyone know where I can purchase such a recording? My niece had a cassette with the original words and music but played it so often that she wore it out. If I can find one I intend to give it to her for Christmas.

Any help will be appreciated.

"One Little Spark" can be found on the new 2 Disc set "Happiest Celebration on Earth" (Park Exclusive)...

You can buy it at the laughing place store at a big mark up.

I don't know the Phone number for merchandising at WDW but I would think you should buy it from the park and have it shipped.

Anyone else know how to do that?

Maybe some kind Diser would buy and ship it to you while there in the next few weeks. (Say Mousefest )

I purchased the "Official CD" of the Happiest Celebration on Earth last week. It's a two-CD set of music from many of the attractions at WDW. Included on it is the original music from JII. (It also has the original tiki bird music, as well as the new stuff)

I picked up a copy of it as well when we were there last month. I LOVE this collection. It has not come out of my CD player since we returned. But I do have to say that I am almost sick of hearing "One Little Spark". It is the ONLY song on the whole CD that DD wants to hear. Don't get me wrong, I love it. It's cute. It's catchy. It jogs the memory. But every morning, over and over and over again... My favorite is the Soarin' themesong. We have a game where I will tell DS7 and DD4 to just close their eyes and listen. Then I will recount the ride as best I can. "Look", I'll say, "Now we're flying over the ocean. Hurry, pick your feet up before they get wet! Can you smell those oranges???? Look, it's Tinkerbell and we're flying right into the fireworks!!" I look back at them and they have their little eyes screwed shut and they both have the biggest grins on their faces. Pure magic.

I bought mine at AKL for around $25.00 and it's a 2 disc set. Just call Disneyworld Mailorder service and they will ship it right to you. You can actually call any Disney number and they will connect you to Mailorder.

Hate to nitpick, but it is "Two tiny wings." Just thought I'd remind you. My mother sings that song to this day, and she doesn't have a CD!

Our DD13 wanted to have a party. OK. So she put together a presentation (in Powerpoint) on why she wanted to have the party. In the middle, One Little Spark starts playing. Next slide - "See Dad, I knew you'd say yes". And the party was very nice.
