figmentfan814AAR~LivingSeas~French Is. *I'm back and married! Will start TR soon!*

I have you tried calling Group Reservations directly? What they did for me was for some of the slots we have two separate reservations- for example, one might be for 10 people and the other for 8 people. They then told me to arrive a little early at the restaurant to see if they could at least seat us close together. I don't have the Group Reservations number with me, but I could post it this weekend if you need it. For the morning after your wedding check with your coordinator. My planner's assistant made the contact for me at 1900 Park Fare for our post-wedding brunch. Good luck :goodvibes

Thank you! I may see if that will work! Now I'm panicing- theme of the day! I just left a message with the Manager at O'hana, we want to do a welcome dinner there the night before the wedding! Crossing my fingers and waiting for the phone to ring

Wow. Amazing.
Your newsletters are so great - I only hope I can make some half so nice!

I love that you're going to the Tigers spring training! How fun! Btw... I'm sending you a really random PM since you're the only person I know from Flint. ;)

Wow, those Newsletters are fab!
I am definitely going to do something like this :thumbsup2

Thanks Tabetha & meryll83. I hate spending the time on them while I'm doing it :surfweb: , but I'm always excited once I see the final product:woohoo:

The best part is that they're playing the Cleveland Indians and one the groomsmen is from Ohio. It should be fun for everyone that day; my only disappointment is that I can't go because the tea is at the same time and I love baseball too :upsidedow

This past weekend was insanely busy; we looked at additional condos to buy, took care of our marriage license, got the tuxes, and had a second dance lesson :dance3:

We just went with Men's Warehouse and Kris and I will pick them up on Friday before the wedding. Here I am on the phone calling the huge printout of Florida stores to find the one closest to Disney, I started with anything that had a 407 area code ;)

Here is the tux link:

Let it be known, that I let Kris pick out everything, even the cufflinks. I figured I had to let him pick something

It's been so easy so far, I highly suggest going through Brevard County for the license by mail :thumbsup2

YAY!
I'm so glad that the mail process is so easy. I am still a bit concerned about gteting it back in time and stuff but so far I heard it's pretty painless. So I'm glad... :)

It was so easy, I'm glad we're not wasting time on it once we're down there :thumbsup2

Fantastic, you must be gettting so excited.

Thanks to your newsletter, I think we're going to contact AirTran for their Event Saver plan when the time comes... so thanks for that!

Hey Figmentfan814, let me start by saying I know Im a late subscriber but Ive thoroughly enjoyed catching up on your planning so far. Im a April bride and Im trying my best to get it all organised although I must confess you have put me to shame with all you beautiful ideas. It will truely be a day you, your husband to be and your guests will never forget!

Congtratulations on all of your accomplishments to date!

Ive read through all 24 pages of your journal and must admit Im very envious of your newletters. This is probaby a big as but Im trying to organise 75 people travelling from Ireland most of which know very little about Disney and don't know how to even book things on line. If at all possible could you help m with preparing a newsletter? Would you have a template I could use? If you can help please PM me and I'll give you my email address...

Best of luck with the rest of your planning. You are going to be a beautiful bride.:lovestruc

Thank you for taking the time to read through my journal :yay: I understand how hard it can be to have so many guests that don't know anything about Disney. I sent you a PM and I hope I can be of some help :goodvibes

Look what I got in the mail today ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo It's only been 3 weeks since I sent my invitation to Disneyland, I'm still waiting for my response from the President.

I realized that I hadn't posted pictures of our Welcome Bags. The water bottles will have our own labels which I have designed and the purple round container in the front will have Mickey mints inside. ::MickeyMo

  • Special pins depending on their trip- birthday, first visit,
    Mickey pencil,
    playing cards,
    pretzels,
    cookies,
Pirates of the Caribbean lanyard pirate:
    postcards (with stamps),
    Disney fruit snacks,
    antenna topper,
    "Bear" necessities kit,
stickers and camera (not everyone gets a camera)

The jars that we made will have all the "Disney" related items in them inside the Welcome Bags. As I mentioned before, the purple container will have Mickey mints. I can't decide if I should print off sticker labels to put on top or not.

Here is the inside of the kits; the bandaids are Disney that I got in a huge box at Sam's Club and there's a small picture of the matchbox sewing kits we bought too:
