everything looks great!!! did you get the pirates lanyards at the parks or off of eBay? I'd love to put lanyards in my welcome bags, but I'm not sure what the best deal is on buying 30+...

I actually bought them from Target last year. They had them in the dollar bins and then I got some marked down 75% and the rest at 90%, so that was the only way I could afford them for 25 cents and 10 cents. Sorry I couldn't be more help for you :upsidedow

I know I went back and forth about sunblock too because of the cost; I loved the Disney sunblock that was out last year. I got the trial ones marked down at Walmart for $1. I actually didn't get them for everyone, I think half of the people will get them.

I was wondering what it says. I think it look great.

Linda

Hi Linda,

There isn't too much written on the cards; I couldn't think of anything too creative to add :upsidedow ~

Here are some things to make your stay more enjoyable:
• Sanitizer as a reminder of Vanessa’s obsession with cleanliness.
• Wipes to remove the spots from the great food you’ll be eating.
• A sewing kit for those unexpected repairs.

There's a joke with my family and friends because I carry hand sanitizer with me all the time :goodvibes

The bags look great Vanessa:cutie:

I love that you got your Congrats from the Mouses already!

Wow everything looks great. I love your welcome bags. i might have to steal a few of your ideas! ;)

Everything looks great! You are getting so close!

I can't believe it either! Today I went with my grandma while she shopped for her dress for the wedding and my aunt asked me if it was setting in that I'm getting ready to make such a major life change and the funny thing is that it doesn't seem any different. Maybe the preparations have kept me so busy reality hasn't set in for me yet :rotfl:

Greetings figmentfan! I have to admit that I've been reading your planning journal for the last couple of months and you've done an awesome job. I love all your organized newsletters and plans. It will be such an incredible day for the both of you!

For our wedding, we are using the same places as you AAR for the ceremony and Living Seas for the reception! :goodvibes We weren't able to use it for the reception (small guest count) but was super excited to learn that we could use it for the ceremony!

I have a quick question, if you don't mind, regarding centerpieces. You were allowed to bring in your own centerpieces to the LS, right? If so, did Disney give you any trouble? The reason I'm asking is because we are interested in making our own and the contract says that it is not allowed. :confused3

Anyway, I can't wait to read more and hear all about your wedding ~ congratulations!

Thank you for all your compliments :goodvibes I'm hoping things turn out as planned.

We were actually going to use the American Adventure Parlor for our reception, but we had the opposite problem that you had with the rotunda, we outgrew it ;)

The technicality on the centerpieces is that we are only bringing in the snowglobes and Disney Floral is providing glass blocks to set them on, candles for the tables, flower petals and ivy to sprinkle around the edges. I was told if there was a container or something we wanted to add to our centerpieces (such as the snowglobes) that this was okay, but we couldn't provide everything.

I know it can get pretty confusing  If you ever want to know about bringing something I have found that it doesn't hurt to ask your planner because you never know if they'll say yes! :woohoo:

Thanks very much for the information ~ it was pretty helpful. So maybe we could get away with making our own as long as we use Disney floral for assistance of some sort.
When we go for the planning session in April, I'm sure we'll find out more. :thumbsup2

Definitely keep us posted, after all you never know what they'll let you do until you ask! :goodvibes
