Figment Statues from Event on the way and refund

Fed Ex has started to deliver Figment Statues from the Sept Pin Event. Along with the statue is a letter saying everyone who purchased it will be receiving a refund and a gift of 2 unreleased Pins. I have included an exerpt from the letter. I haven't gotten mine yet but those that have said the statue is very nice and they like it.

"Dear Pin Celebration Guest,
Enclosed is your Figment sculpt from this year's Disney Pin Celebration at Epcot.
We apologize for the delay in you receiving this event piece. Additionallly, this piece was not executed as originially planned. Therefore, we are making arrangements to fully refund the cost of this item to you.
Also, in appreciation of your patience and for the inconvenience we have caused, we are enclosing 2 complimentary never released limited edition pins.
We thank you in advance for your support of Disney Pin Trading and hope you enjoy these items.

The additional pins are two of the Canada Dominion Day (July 10, 2002) with Thumper and the Canadian flag (LE 4500).

I received mine today. There are two of the Canada Dominion Day pins (with Thumper) enclosed with the statue.

I can't believe we are getting the purchase price refunded! I guess it pays to write letters to Disney when you're not happy about something.

BTW, the statue is great!
