Figi Or Tokelau At The Poly- Help!!

Question before we leave..............

At the Poly, would you recommend the longhouse Figi or Tokelau building? Criteria we're looking for is we are willing to walk, want to be not too, too far from a pool, not too close to the monorail, and wanted some piece and quiet, and want a third floor balcony (GV is what we reserved). I have heard that both buildings would fit our criteria but should I ask for Figi being the rooms are newly renovated? Are the room sizes the same in the Figi longhouse as in the Tokelau longhouse? Help?

Can't speak to the renovations, but Tokelau is a great location, based on your criteria.

* Its mid-building entrance opens to the "quiet pool"
* The walk to the Great Ceremonial House and the main pool is very short
* The building is on the TTC side of the Poly campus, so it's also not an unreasonable walk to TTC
* Probably best of all.... Walk to the end of the hall, and out the door to the outside stairs, and get a spectacular view of the MK straight ahead, with GF and CR on either side! Absolutely fantastic at night!

Both buildings are good locations and meet your criteria. Fiji is closer to the monorail, but not right next to it. While Tokelau is more centrally located, I think Fiji would be a great choice as the views there are supposedly just as great, and you would have the plus of staying in a newly refurbished room.

We stayed in Tokelau one year ago and loved it and it's location was perfect...We also stayed there 3 years ago and went back to the same bldg. because of it's location. Does Fiji have balconies because I know some of the older bldgs. do not have balconies..
