Today has been a good day! Eating wise I stayed within my calories. I walked for 30 mins. :cool1: I have had a good day emotionally.
If I can do it today, I can do it tomorrow! Hopefully all will go well.
No weight loss today, but maybe next week!

I hope that you don't mind, I have been using your motto: "if I did it yesterday, I can do it today." You don't know how often it has helped me.

Hey Michelle! I have no problem at all with you using my motto! :hug: I am glad I can be an inspiration to someone! Being someones inspiration is inspiring to me!! (I hope that makes since!)

Today has been another good day, I walked 30 mins :cool1: (last night too!)
Eating has been good and emotionally good.

Have been really nervous about the gas situation in my area, since hurricane Ike, there has been a major gas shortage here and I had to wait in line 1 hour and 20 minutes for gas today!!:scared1: I hope it gets better soon!
 
You are doing great, Kelly:cheer2: :cheer2: . Try not to sweet the stuff you can't change. Just continue to cope with it in a healthy way. Going for a walk is a great stress reliever. I am really proud of you for doing well emotionally. Going for the walks is probably helping out big time. It also is keeping you more focused and wanting to eat healthy. Keep up what you are doing. You are worth it!:cheer2:

Tonight I walked again 30 minutes! :cool1: Today emotionally I am doing good. And eating wise was ok. Probably didn't do as good as I could, but still did ok!

Hopefully tomorrow will be another good day!

Kelly we have not heard from you since last Thursday. How is everything going? Even though I do not post here regularly I still pop in to check on you girlfriend. Sometimes I just don't think I have anything to contribute.

I hope you are out enjoying RL (real Life) and not sulking and hiding like I do when I am not eating or exercising like I should. I am in a low place right now and have just started to climb out. Losing weight is just so danged hard. I keep telling myself that this is the challenge the good Lord has given me and He knows what is best for me. I keep telling myself I am learning many things about myself along the way and eventually I will be able to help others on their weight loss journeys too.

We CAN and WILL do this Kelly. One day at a time. If you did it yesterday you can do it again today. That quote is from one of my idols Blessed99.

Well, I am back. I am sorry for not posting before now! I have been too busy! Kamryn has had a school project due, we have had a couple of birthday parties and a lot of family stuff going on. But thanks so much to those of you that care enough to wonder where I am! :hug: Its friends like you guys that make me come back!!

Unfortunately, I have had a really bad week! Somehow I lost track of what I was doing and can't seem to get back on it!! Pray for me please!! I did not weigh today because I know I have probably gained back a couple of pounds and I can't bear to see that on the scales right now! I did walk my 30 mins tonight though! :cool1: If you can, please keep me in your prayers!!

Well, I have totally blown everything I worked so hard to do!! I hate it when I do this! I was doing so good and all of a sudden, everything goes black, and no matter what I can't seem to start back over! I don't know how to get me back out of this dark place! Any prayers and encouragement would be greatly appreciated! :sad1:
 
Kelly, you can do this. Yes, you have had some days that have not been the best, but you can do this.:cheer2: Do not give up. You have a beautiful little girl who is counting on you and who needs you around for a very long time. Don't focus on the not good decisions that are now behind you and you can't do anything about. Focus on what you can do now. Make good choices starting this moment!! You are going to start this moment and keep on tomorrow. Remember your motto? If you did it yesterday, you can do it today. Well, you did it last month and you can and will do it this month. You have been inspiring so many people here, don't give up!
You are not going to be perfect all the time. You are changing your life. This is not a quick, short term thing. You are taking care of your life and health for years to come. I know that I could not eat perfectly or work out perfectly for the rest of my life. I will have days (maybe even weeks) of not eating great, but if I can eat and work out properly for 90% of the time, then great. I could not imagine not ever having a piece of chocolate cake or chips ever again for the next 30-40 (hopefully more) years. How much fun would life be? But one piece now and then is better than the whole cake!!
Celebrate those little things. And you can do this. You have a lot of people backing you and who want to see you succeed. Go Kelly:cheer2: :cheer2:

Kelly I am so sorry that you are having a bad time. I wish I could reach through this computer right now and give you the big hug you need. Always remember that I am here for you. Even though I am far away in Maryland I think of you often. I want to see you succeed. I KNOW you can.

But Kelly losing weight is not easy. Pixie dust will not make it happen. There is no magical fairy. There is no quick fix. It will not happen overnight. This is a journey with many challenges along the way.

You have hit a roadblock. That does not mean you quit. It means you figure out a way to get through the roadblock. Let's make a plan. Let's do this together. I too am doing horrendously right now. It takes hard work, really hard work and some days I just don't think I can do it. But then I remember that this is not the life I want to live and I am the one who can change it.

I have a loving husband, three great kids with wonderful spouses, two grandsons and another grandbaby on the way. I have so much to live for. I know that if I do not lose this weight now I will not be around to enjoy life with those I love.

I know you have special people in your life that need you too. Like Kamryn. She needs you to do this.

Tiger Lily said you should tell us one positive thing. Anything. I have a negative recording that plays on a constant loop in my head. It can really get me down and I actually start to believe it. When I can replace it with my positive recording 'Brenda you are a Beautiful, Intelligent, Talented, and Organized Princess' I am better able to tackle life. What is your positive manta? If you don't have one yet create it now. It will serve you well and will help you crawl out of the hole you are in.

Now let's work on our plan. davidsprincess says to forget about the past, concentrate on right now. Start now right this second. Let's make a goal each day and return and report to each other. Today I will stay OP (on program). I will do whatever it takes to only eat what I know I should today. Now you pick a goal. Start small. Start with something you know you can accomplish. Each day we will add something else. You can do it one day at a time. We will get there together Kelly.

Remember if you did it yesterday you can do it again today. Let's get started doing it like we know we should. We can have success and we can build on our success.

Lets see, a positive for me..........thats a hard one! I guess my positive would be that I was able to post the truth about having a bad few weeks. Before I started Dising I would have just quit on my journey and never admit to anyone what a struggle this journey is, I would just eat myself into a major depression and never try to seek help to get through it! So my positive would be truth! Wow, that actually feels better to get that out!!

My goal for tomorrow is going to be to drink all of my water! For some reason when I am going through a bad spell, I tend to really cut back on my water. :confused:
Another goal for tomorrow is to leave the past few weeks in the past and to remember that tomorrow is a BRAND NEW DAY!! And the past is gone and I cannot get it back. I am going to try and live for TODAY!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I had a two eating mishaps yesterday. Today will be better and I will think of my friend Kelly that will be trying hard today too.

Let's break though this roadblock and get back on the right path. We will think positive thoughts today.

Giving It Your All

If you can do your best and forget your worst, you've already got a head start on tomorrow. As long as you lay it out there every day, you can relax when yesterday is behind you. Of course, the only way this will happen is if you give yourself permission to forget. You can use this approach in anything: Pick up a problem, do what you can with it, and then put it down. Work your tail off at the office, then leave it there (the work, not your tail). Deal with a personal crisis by finishing off one day at a time. There's a great deal of satisfaction in leaving things be for a moment. There's a great deal of freedom in knowing that you could do no more. And there's a great deal of success awaiting the person who gives it her all, no matter what.
