Fight of Passage fastpass or rope drop questions

We do Disney every year and stay on site. These trips are always planned well in advance. This year we said NO Disney. Well, now we are 3 months out and starting to plan a trip for the second week of June but staying offsite. Are there any FP available at 30 days out for FOP? How is rope drop now, are the lines still 2 hours long.

In my experience, I have to book FOP at 2 months out, and look to a day or days later in my stay. It will not be available at 60 days, but may well be available at 63 days, for example. Others can tell you more about rope drop.

Mostly no, but it’s luck of the draw really. Some people have been able to get day-of FP for FoP.

Rope drop is the way to go. Get there LONG before they open and stay in the front of the crowd.

Getting Fast Passes is like trying to play the lottery.

Another option is to get in line 5 min. Before park close. You will get to ride and get to see parts of the awesome Q that you will not see at rope drop.

Ok, thanks for the replies. Last year we had no problem getting early fast passes on 2 separate days at the 60 day point. I was hoping it got better so we could get them at the 30 point.. I guess we will have to do rope drop on our AK day. There are 7 of us so I might have to try for a few passes at a time.
