Figaro Fries - still available?!

According to some posts I've read here on DIS, the answer is "NO".

However, I think a modified version is still available...perhaps without the lettuce & tomato? Sorry I don't have a definate answer, but I do remember reading they are no longer served the same way (I was bummed because I wanted to try them on our upcoming trip).

As a former Figaro Fry Lover, I have the answer for you...

They have something they call Figaro Fries. It's cheese fries with bacon. The old version, Fries, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing is no longer.

According to Disney it's because that's what the majority of people wanted. Never mind the fact that anyone who wanted cheese fries could easily say "Hold the Lettuce, Tomato and Ranch Please" and then everyone would be happy. No, Disney wants us to believe that this is for our own good - even though it's clearly another way to save money.

Don't get me wrong, Disney is a business and is in the business of making money. That's cool. Just don't insult me with your excuses.

Ive gotten them, I never thought to ask to Hold the Yucky Tomateoes...
I used to pick them off...
Now... they are no more..
