Our Intentions Were Good, But The Treats Were Better: One Month in Disney (4/21-5/21) COMPLETE!

Off topic but here's some photos of my "Thomas" cakes. The difficulty was always that DS's birthday was in August and inevitably I was attempting to frost his cakes on the hottest, most humid day of the whole summer with no A/C! These are from his 4th and 6th birthdays. I had gotten tired of the same old cake after three years so on his 6th birthday, I did a "standing cake", even more challenging in the humidity.

Oh, wow! You did a fabulous job on those Thomas cakes! The likeness is incredible! Those train faces are not easy to duplicate. I just love those cakes!
Oh boy, I’m amazed you were able to get this done in August heat and humidity. I’m sure everyone was excited to see the cakes. Super job and thank you for sharing!

Those are awesome! We had a couple Thomas cakes back in the day but I had a bakery make them since I am no where near that talented!

I have 4 grandboys and I make their birthday cakes every year! I will cherish these memories forever. As they grow older, they have helped me decorate their cakes. If i figure out how to attach photos, I will share some of them!

Thank you! I always made my boys' cakes. I still do actually but now they are just interested in different flavors no shapes involved (much easier!)
