hi people i was wondering if anybody can tell me about the fireworks at the castle in disneyland paris for the disney dreams 20th anniversary

I was there last november it was amazing show and im heading back again in november and the show will be finished on the 1st october and im wandering will there be a new fireworks show at the castle or is that a once off

thank you

The consensus is that Dreams will continue past the 20th celebrations due to the fact a lot of time & money has gone into it for it to only last a year.

it says on there web page it will stop on the first of october im just wondering do they always have fireworks at the castle

They are saying that now but can't see it happening due to the finance put into it, it wouldn't make sense to spend all the money for 18 months of use. Also the guy who designed it has been rumoured to be thinking of changing the theme come Halloween and Christmas.

There isn't always fireworks, only during summer and special events.

I take it there will be fireworks at the beginning of June? Will be gutted if not.

Yep. Dreams runs until (at least) the end of September.

It's a fantastic show of fireworks, music, water fountains (think Vegas Bellagio) and very clever projections. It's unmissable! We watched in on 3 out of 4 nights on our last trip.

Dreams is a wonderful but also expensive show. Not only for the show itself, but for the fact that they have to keep the park open until dusk.
This is not a problem in the winter (when it's dark earlier) or the summer (when the park is crowded and kept open late anyway), but mid season when in the past they used to close the park at 6pm and it's not dark by then.
So I'm sure that Dreams will stay at DLP for a looong time (they have other 20 minutes of show ready, to change some scenes and renew it from time to time), but I'm not sure it will be up every night of the year. Maybe in low seasons only during the weekends.
In Disneyland in California they already have fireworks and Fantasmic only during the weekends in low seasons, it would make sense also in Paris for Dreams.

Dreams! is a permanent attraction, but there is talk that at the end of the 20th anniversary that the show may only run at weekends during the low seasons.
