Fidelity Resale

I never heard of Fidelity until recently and wanted to share our experience so far. We bought a resale last year from one of the two agencies that are always listed here and it was an easy transaction.

Now we decided to add on a few more points. Neither of the big two had any small contracts that met our needs. They seem to be flying off the shelves!

I contacted Janet at Fidelity. I bid on a couple and the owners never responded, but she updated me daily. She then found us a 90 pt OKW with all the 2010 and 2011 points for $55 point. We offered a low ball of $50pt and they came back at $63 (yes raised the price!). We said we would pay $55 and this years maintenance and closing only. It has been accepted and we are just getting to the ROFR step.

I just wanted to say it was a pleasure working with them and I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Thanks for the info. I'm still sitting on the fence and trying to absorb all of this. I'm waiting until after March to start looking. I'm watching some pretty low purchases and keep wondering how much lower can they go. I've not found that contract that will make me move forward yet on another purchase. I've would just be looking to add on to one of my other homes. I had thought of buying into BCV, but am moving towards just adding more points to my BWV contract. I've checked out Fidelity often and they have some pretty good looking contracts....still waiting for one with some banked points.

I too have been working with Fidelty this week, communication was okay but then again they could not get an answere from the sellers. I finally withdrew my offer at 4:45 today and made an offer on a better contract (a bit bummed not same UY) but I think it will work much better for us, less points and less money! Hopefully contract is e-mailed to me tomorrow.

Hmmm...I'll have to remember this tactic if I'm ever in a position of selling either of my contracts! That kinda cracked me up!!
