Side question @Jack Kerouac : Do you like BRV better than CCV? If so, why?

We keep going back-and-forth between the two.
We have not stayed at CCV, but based on the videos of the rooms, we liked the BRV theme better. Additionally, we have five in our family, so BRV allows for a fifth person in the 1BRs and nine in the 2BRs. And lastly, BRV seemed quieter since it is not part of the main WL. I have discovered that I prefer quieter resorts and BRV was very quiet when we stayed there.

Agree on all of this. BRV rooms look better and my family would fit in a studio there. CCV would always force us to a 2 bedroom…I haven’t stayed at either but that gives me pause before ever adding on at CCV.

Not who you asked but I’ll weigh in.

Both resorts are amazing and a stay at either one is amazing. BRV wins in my heart for a few reasons.
  • It's so much quieter.
  • The intimate lobby offers a lot of escapes
  • Close to Geyser Point and my preferred pool
  • Rooms are better decor wise
For some reason, we tend to find ourselves spending our pool time at the quiet pools rather than the feature ones (at least at PVB and SSR). My only complaint about BRV's pool compared to say the Backstretch Pool or the Oasis Pool is the fact that there are blind spots from certain seats for watching my kiddos. But the blind spots just mean I have to get in the pool, so it's not really that bad.
