First things first.....FIND A NEW DOCTOR. You can't expect to get any help from an idiot.
I went through a difficult time getting loved ones to understand how disabling fibro can be. It's difficult to deal with the pain and changes to your lifestyle. I finally decided I would only do what I could comfortably do. I found ever piece of written literature to leave lying around. I think the real eye opener for DH was when I had to rent a
scooter on our last visit to Disney.
Weather change is difficult for me too. I went for two years without any relief. I was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. I am doing much better....at least considering how bad it was. I sometimes take meds at night...to get comfortable. I take several herbal meds. I bought a foam matteress...it helps a lot. I take B-12 shots on a regular basis...seems to help with the fatigue.
Fibro stinks but, it least it's not life threatening. I'm not going to let it get the best of me.
