Fiber ??

I am thinking about taking fiber supplements. I have read several posts about fiber being used to "fill you up". I was hoping for this effect, but also general health.

Does anybody have a fiber product recommendation? Powder vs. tablets? I have seen commercials for the new chewable tablets. Has any body tried them?

Any info will be appreciated.
 
I personally would recommend ground flax seed. The fiber benefits are great but it's full of omega-3 and other great stuff for you. I use 2 Tbls everyday in my breakfast yougart. It has a slightly nutty taste.

I also ocassional use benefiber, it's a non-flavored powder i put in my water in crystal light.

Your goal should be to get in 25 grams of fiber a day. Since I have IBS I try to supplement 8-12 grams of fiber a day and shoot for a bit higher # perday. It's been my blessing!!
