Hi all, so we are off to disneyland on tuesday staying in sequia lodge. I have a few quick questions before we go. Thanks in advance for any help :)
1. We rang about upgrading to a montana room or the hotel New York but both were full leading me to think the park must be crowded! any one know if the parks are very busy at the moment?
2.Last time at DLP i went on Rock'n'roller coaster but was not a big fan of it but i was thinking of trying space mountain this time around. Is space mountain better or worse than rock'n'roller coaster? Iv heard alot about banging your head off the seat and ending up with a headache which doesnt seem great. Is this true?
3.Last time in DLP toy story playland wasnt open yet so havnt seen it yet, what are the ques like for those 3 rides?
4.With the park open until 10 oclock at night are there any rides you reccommened i do at night time because there better in the dark than during the day?

Hi Barry. :)

We go tomorrow too!

I'm hoping it's not too busy!!! 'Full' may well mean that they aren't currently using all hotel rooms, they could be doing work in some. Also there could be a big convention in HNY taking up lots of rooms. Let's hope that the case, anyway! It certainly won't be school holiday busy.

Space Mountain is a hard one. Some rides I've found it great others really bumpy. I always think its less bumpy the closer to the front you are. As we really enjoy the blast off part if sat in the front. So we tend to wait for the front seat when we ride now. Give it a try then if you don't like it at least you aren't left wondering.

I've not been since TSPL opened either so can't help there I'm afraid.

I'm really excited to ride BTM in the dark as we love doing that in Florida and haven't done in DLRP yet. I think in general most idea will be a bit quieter the later it gets.

Have a great trip!! How are you getting there? This time tomorrow we'll be at St Pancras.

Parks have been busy a lot of May as we've had several 4 day weekends but this week shouldn't be bad as all 5 days are work days

Don't know when you last did SM2 but according to many, including my OH, the past couple of years it's got worse for head banging around (I don't do it for this reason)

They are supposed to be getting new harnesses in there but no date as yet.

RnRC has been vastly improved, there is now more inversions and better lighting and you get the impression that there is several different rides possible in there.

You have single rider lines for the Parachute Drop and the RCRacer in TSPL which keeps things moving along as the Parachutes are slow loading and can get silly re queue times.

BTM is brillant in the dark as you get to see the park lit up :cool1:

Above all have a great time :goodvibes

Dumbo in the dark is cool too (and the teacups) - and its usually fairly quiet in Fantasyland at night, after the parade has finished.

Flying from Cork airport to charles de gaulle! so excited now!! ok im definately going to try BTM at night and i was thinking Indiana Jones might be good at night also! ya i think il try space mountain once just to see what its like because iv tried all the other rollercoasters. Torsie24 have a great trip! :goodvibes iv been checking and the weather is promised good so lets hope!! :)

I'm not sure about the others, but i'll start off with good choice for Sequoia Lodge! I love staying there, it's beautiful and the people who work there are so lovely.
Firstly, I definitely prefer the rock n rollercoaster over Space Mountain. After I rode that I had a back ache and my sister hurt her shoulder quite badly, it's one of those rides where you tend to move around a lot within the thing that comes over your head (cannot think of the word!) which I hate in rollercoasters, it makes me feel slightly insecure. But moving around in it does hurt a bit!

When I went into the Toy Story land, queues were quite long but not ridiculous.

Riding Big Thunder Mountain in the dark is wonderful, all the lights look beautiful and it's so much more fun! Also the teacups are lovely at night.

Hope you have a great time! :)
