Great updates! The meet looked like fun and the food looks great. We tried it in February but I barely remember it because that's the very next meal we had after DH had the allergic reaction at 50's cafe' earlier that day. I was sooo nervous to be out eating again after that. We may have to try it again in the future.

Loved all the animal pics from the trail. Can't wait to see what's up with Vinny!!

How did you like the Deluxe Dining Plan? It's something I've wanted to try, but the quantity of food kind of scares me!

It is nice but too much food as you will read along. The secret is to do signature dining nightly.

Taking a little break from the tr and am posting our trip to the new Disney Store in Times Square. We decided to go on Sunday afternoon. We drove down to Manhattan and it was CROWDED. Could not find a parking spot anywhere so we ended up garaging it. We then walked over towards Times Square and saw something attacking the city. LOL

Then we walked the couple of blocks down and we were there.
Looking from the pedestrian mall across the street.

Then as I got closer the windows had video screens.

When we walked in you immediately see this on the ceiling.

Nice display of Vinylmation merchandise.

This poor guy wanted someone to take him home.

I thought this was really nice.

I personally do not like this Mickey, he looks so angry.

Now we head up the escalator to the 2nd floor. A few shots of the 1st floor as we go up.

When we reached the top I quickly tried to take a photo of the entryway. It didn't work. LOL

They of course had the TANGLED merchandise out.

Toy Story 3 merchandise.

The tree had images on it that kept changing.

Then we entered the "Beauty and the Beast" section. These were $49.95 and very nice.

I loved the walls in this place.

I did enjoy the sayings on the walls.

Of course they have to Marvel now that they own it.

Really big Toy Story section.

They also had a lot more marvel but missed that.
Then we left. Heading down the escalator we saw this. I tried to get a pic but my camera was not cooperating.

It is like the end of It's A Small World. LOL

REVIEW:
It was very busy and the place is not nearly as big as the old store. I will say I was not impressed by it. We had the only "World of Disney" outside of a Disney Park and that awesome, now this is like every other Disney Store and the quality of the merchandise is really low. There were some things that were cute but I don;t think I will visit it like I did the other store. Now I am sure others will love it and that is great but it is not for me.

I felt the same way about the new Disney store in Roosevelt Field Mall. They made such a huge deal about reopening the store and it's the same stuff in a redecorated place. I agree that the quality of the Disney store merchandise is pretty low. The park merchandise is so much better.

I'll visit the Times Square store after the holidays and the crowds die down.

I enjoyed the tour!
I'm planning a surprize trip to NYC for my DD10 and I see a few things that will be coming home with us.

She will freak out when she sees the special NY Mickey ears.

If you don't mind a new friend, I'm going to stick around and see how your trip turned out. It looks fun so far.

Don't you love Memom, she is the best. A surprise trip is very nice, great city to visit and so much to do. If u need some places that r musts just ask. I loved the ears, I thought those were very different.
