Festival of Lion King package timing question

in your opinion which is the better option. Both are lunch at Tiffins but we have a choice of 3pm lion king show followed by safari or 5pm followed by safari. I remember reading some had a preference but I couldn’t find the thread and am not sure which show/safari combo would be the better safari experience. This is in June. Thanks

As long as you're not riding when it's dark, then the time of the safari won't matter

I rather thought that but remembered people saying they moved a lot of animals out of the safari at some time and wanted to avoid that. I imagine they have to keep most of them out until the evening time Safari change though.
