Ferrets

Does anyone own one or know someone who does? Are they good pets? Do they get along well with cats and dogs? We're thinking about getting one, and would like info from people who actually own them rather than just from books.

One of my best friends has a ferret. From what she tells me they are pretty good pets. She usually keeps her cats away when her ferret's out of it's cage. 'Cuz they might or something. Be prepared for the smell because they stink, when not bathed. Apparently you can teach 'em tricks and stuff too so that's preety cool. i hope I was at least some help.

i have a ferret. he is very friendly and nice to my dog, but my dog doesnt like HIM very much.

I had a dream about ferrets that kind of turned me against them. You see, I was in a Walmart, and they had a huge cage of rats--but when I put my hand it to grab one, they turned into ferrets, and bit me really hard. My finger fell off and Walmart people refused to call 911. It hurt. Badly.

I had a dream about ferrets that kind of turned me off to them also....long story....let's keep that door closed.


But yeah, my neighbor from a while ago had a ferret, I don't remember much about what she said about it though...I think she had a few actually.

They seemed nice, pretty good pets.
