Hello! My family and I are staying at BCV for 10 days July 2018 - woot woot! We love to stay on the first floor, facing the quiet pool (direct access to the pool from your living room - what more could you ask for?), however I noticed there is now a small fence surrounding the pool. Has anyone stayed there recently with the new fence? Do you have to walk around to the pool entrance to get in?) Just curious...

Thank you all so much for your help!!!

not sure about the fence but unless something changed in the room you know if you go out the patio door you can't lock it. so you need to keep watch on your room.

Thank you! Yes, we do have to keep an eye on the room... :)

Each of the patios are surrounded by shrubbery. DVC doesn't want guests traipsing through the landscaping (creatures sometimes hide in there, plus is causes damage to the grounds). You'll need to use the regular door to exit your villa and head out to the pool that way, not the patio door

Thank you! I don't blame them...keep the grounds (and critters) happy.

We always request a ground floor villa overlooking the quiet pool also. I was so sad to recently see the photos of a fence around the pool. I think it looks terrible...ugh. However, I completely understand the reasoning for doing it is to keep children from danger. I am actually wondering if we will continue making this villa request or something else now.
