Fellow 3/2 Magic cruisers

rcostello1 - DW and myself will be there as well. The kids have to stay home this time. Looking for that much needed adult time.
 
We (me, DH, DS (5) and DD (1.5))will be there too! I have not been brave enough to venture into a small room covered with mirrors to try on suits --- is it possible to lose 10 lbs in 18 days? If so, please advise how -- I am getting desperate!
The kids are all ready to go though -- Josh is going to look quite stylish in his little navy suit with a tie. See you all there -- going to pick up some lime green ribbon to tie to my swim bag today.

I've lost about 20lbs since the beginning of January. I'm down 2 pants sizes, I'm tanning (I'm very fair and ghost looking by nature!), and I had my hair highlighted. Now if I can lose 10 more lbs before the cruise I will be all set. I'm exercising 2hrs/day and dieting (except yesterday, that was a bad day...Krispy Kreme... :) )

I have been working out an hour to an hour and half a day (mostly running and lifting weights). What are you eating (or not eating!) since January that you would lose 20lbs? That is a lot of weight. Congratulations.
 
I've been doing my version of Atkins...never had to so much meat in my life. I don't know whether to attribute the weight loss to that or the exercise. I think I will move to a more normal diet after the cruise...and we'll see how that compares.

I plan to weigh myself when I get on the ship and before I get off (I hope they have a scale in the gym on the ship). Hoping to only bring home souvenirs in a bag and not in my clothes!

I'm sure you can catch me in the exercise room every morning!
 
I will see you on the treadmills -- I hope the exercise room opens early in the morning -- I want to go and get that out of the way before the kids wake up. As for food, I am making up a special "oh dear Lord, only 18 days til I have to be in bathing suit" diet which is low in carbs, no refined sugar, lots and lots and lots of water and lean protein. We will see what happens.
 
We are on the 3/2 cruise, it's our first and we are really excited.
Traveling with DH, and almost 13 and 15 year old DD's. Two close friends and their husbands are also traveling. Hope to meet alot of new people on the cruise!
