We've been back for a week or so now. As most of you know, it's been a rough 6 months. The TT sold quickly, so we booked cabins. Nothing beats your own home, but the cabins were definately the next best thing. Even my parents and sister (who stays at The Ritz or something similar when she travels) liked the cabins!
They are clean, comfortable, cozy, convenient. The only thing I didn't like was my HOP sign I made wouldn't stick to the cedar siding outside the cabin.
The best thing was I didn't have to haul the TT through the TN/KY mtns. and I didn't have to back it in! (Although I had very nice offers of assistance with the backing in!
)
We went to the MVMCP on 12/2 and it was fantastic! Candelight Processional was awesome.
Have time for a little story? It started raining at the end of the CP, we had ressies for GardenGrill afterwards. The baby (will be 3 on Sunday) fell asleep in my arms during CP. So, imagine, wet mom carrying wetter sleeping child with three other dd's dragging behind. We ask someone where Garden Grill is, they send us to Liberty hamburgers or whatever it is. We sit up front and wait for this CM to stop talking w/ other guests to ask directions. He tells us it's at the other side of the park, then really looks at us. He says "Wait here and this CM will see that you get a ride there." THANK YOU! So we wait and a delightful young gal from guest relations comes to our rescue. She puts us in her van and we ride back stage to the restaurant. She escorts us inside. She asks us how we came to know ___ (the man who 1st assisted us.). I tell her he was just there. She tells me he's the GM of all of Epcot!!
She works for him! Well, she then says she can get us VIP seating for Illuminations if we are so inclined to see the show. Hmmmm....do we need to think about that?! So, we saw an awesome production of Illuminations which topped a great evening.
See....magic is made every day!
Won't bore you anymore....just thought I'd say we made it home safe and sound and I'm now feeling the blues...wishing I were going back sooner than is planned!
