Feeling REALLY good about my air tickets!

Just for fun, checked American Airlines site for ticket prices on the same flight I booked through Disney 10 days ago. For four tickets they are total $500 higher now! Trip isn't till December, glad I listened to DH and took the plunge!

Me too!

I bought our (Delta) tickets for our October trip back in early December. I paid $178/person. I just checked the price for the same flight .... now it's up to $699/person. That's insane!

Bought our 5 roundtrip tickets last week on Southwest for Aug and paid 885.00 total! Today, the same flights are almost $1300. Feeling good about my tickets, TOO!

Wow, I can't believe how much my airfare went up since last month!

In light of the rising fuel costs and predictions that airfares would also rise this summer, I booked 2 summer flights last month. This morning I looked up the same flights to compare prices today:

March 30th I booked
American Airlines (for 4 people)
BWI-DEN I paid: $680.80
Price now: $1380.80
Difference: $700

March 16th I booked two one ways on different airlines (for one person)
American Airlines
BWI-SFO
I paid: $160.10
Price now: $627.60
Difference: $467.50

AirTran
SFO-BWI I paid: $145.10
Price now: $149.60
Difference: $4.50

Total difference: $1172

At least AirTran kept their heads...

I booked mine for December at the end of February for 4 of us for $207 each, just checked and now they are $566!!

I bought our tkts. for upcoming May trip in Oct. for 226.00, they are now 1117.00.

Booked 4 tickets BOS-MCO on JetBlue about 2 months ago for a late August Trip. Paying a total of 708.40 fees included.

Were I to book the same trip today, the cost would be $1228.40.

That's a difference of $520!

I too am feeling really good about my tickets. I booked in March from MSP to MCO. Our trip is Nov.30-Dec.4th. For the five of us we're paying 994. I just checked the price and it's up to 1800! WOW!!! I am right on budget!!
