Sorry you couldn't enjoy Typhoon Lagoon! It's just the worst being sick on vacation.

The Dooneys with the bows on them are SO cute, but I like the one you got better! It's more representative of actual Disney World, whereas the other one just looks like a Minnie Mouse bag, ya know? I think you got a good one!

I am a purse addict so I would not be surprised if I end up adding to my Disney Dooney collection.

Sorry you got sick on vacation! That always stinks! Even when it is a nice long trip like this one!

I had a hard time resisting all the bags when we were there in Oct. Then once I found the 40th Anniversary print, I caved. I mean, we were there for the 40th Anniversary itself, so I really had no choice! My Mom bought the same one your Mom did, though she uses hers all the time! I bought the same print, but in the bigger size up. I think it was called the small messenger.

The bag I got is a good size, it fits everything I need without being too big or too crammed.

I hate not feeling well on vacation but your at Disney. I have the same Dooney bag and I always get compliments on it, I also bought the black one because you can't use white after Labor day .

I don't follow the white after Labour Day rule.

First of all, good luck on all your exams! There are days when I toy with the idea of going back for my PhD, and then I remember exam time, and then I'm happy with where I am!

I'm so sorry you got sick on vacation, that is the absolute worst! I think it would be really tough to enjoy a day at TL when you aren't feeling well.

I am really happy that you ended up with a Disney Dooney! I love the sketch purse best, so I think you made an awesome decision. You can always add to your collection later, and I agree that the Minnie bow print is really adorable!

Seems like you ran yourself down a bit, so you got sick. Long Vacations and the stress planning them can do that.

I too have one in that same "White Sketch" pattern. Also: Yellow Sketch, and Disneyland 55th Anniversary print.

Funny thing is that during my first degree I never got nervous over exams but in Nursing I am anxious all the time. Probably because I have put myself in a position where I am competing for top of the class so if I mess up on a test I mess that up. Also it is so much more important for me to learn the material for this program, people's lives will eventually depend on me, not so much when I was studying English Lit and Classics.

May 23rd continued

We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the hotel. I dozed off in bed for a bit in the hopes that some extra sleep would cure me. I think Mom probably went to the pool and the boys goofed around with their game systems. We made our own dinner in the room that night thanks to the handy microwave we were able to get for the room.

Then we had to go out and take family pictures. I was really not in the mood for it, I was still feeling awful and looked terrible. We had to do it though as Mom had been really wanting some non-park family photos. So we all got dressed so we were matchy matchy and walked around the resort and took some photos.

These are all unedited, lots of them could use some cropping but I have been too lazy to bother!

Erich got a nice injury on his arm from that tree, it was nasty.

This was mom's favourite after cropping.

Needless to say, I went to bed super early that night but I had a hard time sleeping due to the stuffy nose. I decided that I would be heading to the drug store in the morning to pick up some Dayquil/NyQuil.
