Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

I've never been lucky enough in all my 3 trips to Epcot to see Snow White in Germany. LOL.

In Oct. I had the Chocolate Caramel Brownie. :lovestruc

Mmmmm.. I never get tired of seeing the goodies in the caramel shop:)

I love your WL pictures. On our trip the WL was the least favorite of the three places we stayed but lately I have been finding myself wanting to stay there again. I just love the grounds and the pretty flowers. I would love to be in that hot tub right now looking back at the lodge all lit up:goodvibes

How nice of you to go see Stitch. I wonder why he had no line? Is Daisy harder to find in the parks?

I saw that DCL is heading to the Med. in 2013. Are you still looking into that? I think you should do it just so that I can read your TR on it:thumbsup2

Lessa, you got some gorgeous pictures of WL. Although I have no desire to stay there, it really is a beautiful resort.

Looks like a great day at Epcot; so glad you got to see Snow White (Mark loved meeting her in 2008).

Maybe you will get a chance to try the Lodge again someday. :thumbsup2

I think she is, Stitch always seems to be all over the place, not so much Daisy.

I did see that, they look wonderful. Only time will tell if we get to go on a Med cruise.

I always enjoy meeting the princesses, I am a little kid at heart.

Oh, my -- that caramel stuff looks so very good right now.... I am loving your pictures, as usual.

Wow, I can't believe your down to your last day in Epcot. I'm sad that the trip is slowly winding down. What shall I do once your report ends???

Wow, what greats pics of the selections at the Caramel store! It would take me forever to make up my mind there!!

All caught up !!First I love:love:the pix of the Bros jumping on the wall and I am with you Lessa , just cuz I have insurance don't mean I plan to use it for briken bones:rotfl2:

Last August we checked out the Karmel Shop and eyed up what we liked but didn't make it back to get it !!I wanted a cupcake and Judy had her eye on a cookie !!I have to make a note to include a Snack stop there for this Fall !!!

I try to plan all my trips during the seasons that have the least chance of rain or snow but not even the weather man can predict that 100%!

I'm looking fwd to visiting the Caramel shop in Germany next week. Any recommendations???

If I were going back I would snatch up some of the caramel popcorn or maybe a cupcake, or maybe a brownie! I am sure they are all good! Another diser goes on and on about the chewy caramel bars so those must be good as well. :thumbsup2

I know, it is winding down although I still have 4 days to write about!

Who knows, maybe but the time this behemoth of a report ends I will have another trip to plan and thus another report! You never know!

 I would totally do a jumping picture, just not while standing on a wall... That is just an accident waiting to happen!

Yes, well with Florida it is hard to avoid the rain.

May 21st continued

After buying my enormous peanut butter caramel cookie we carried on with a tour and made our way to Italy. I wanted to try a slice of pizza from the Via Napoli pizza window but the line was way too long.

I was disappointed in my quest for pizza but I quickly got over that by getting a blue raspberry slushie in the American pavilion. Delicious and refreshing!

Next up, Japan! We wanted to catch the Japanese drummers who were due to perform soon after our arrival. While we waited we browsed the store.

Ghibli merchandise!

Erich bought a kimono and with his change he got an American dollar coin with his change, how random! I didn't realize these were still in circulation. I guess Americans are not fans of the dollar coin currency. I, however, love my Canadian loonies and toonies!

In the washrooms they have a sign telling you what the hook on the stall doors is for. Really?

My and the boys hung back in the shade once the show started while I made my way out into the scalding sun to get pictures and video. Apparently I missed a Dis encounter by doing so, Mom told me she thought she spotted Diane, Pinkxray, entering the store.

We were all feeling the heat so I convinced Mom and the boys to try out my "secret" cool down spot, the little museum at the rear of the Japan pavilion that plays the lovely Ghibli music. It was a perfect spot to sit back and relax and cool down while polishing off the cookie that I bought back in Germany.

D'oh, foiled at the pizza window! I keep wanting to go there, but I don't get foiled by the pizza window. I get foiled by myself not getting over there! :lmao:

I will have to say, I'm American and I love coins! I was in heaven when we visited Europe and we got all of the Euro coins. I was sooooo happy.

That's interesting about the American one dollar coin, I don't get why they just don't go cold turkey with the bills like we did when we ditched the one dollar bill in the 80's or was it the 90's?

 I really wanted to try that pizza since we did not got to our dinner ADR there at the beginning of the trip. :sad2:

I am a fan of the coins as well, they make so much sense! Don't know why they didn't catch on in the States. :confused3

I think the dollar was taken out of circulation in the 80's and the two dollar bill was removed from circulation in the mid-90's. I remember when the toonie's came out very clearly, my dad would always make the joke about "The Queen with the bear behind". Also, we had fun with them at school because the centre piece would pop out if you threw the coin at the ground just right. That was the height of fun for the 6th graders at my school that year.

Mmmm... the slushie looks good, even though I don't like blue raspberry stuff. What a mystery. Hahah.

It's not that dollar coins aren't popular, it's just that they're rare. It's actually very exciting if you randomly happen to get one!
