Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk is now open

Oh my god!!! That's a bit more than I thought it would be... 😂
The first time I went we were having the tea service and the table next to us had a waitress showing off 2 or 3 stuffed toys to them.
And just looking at all her gyrations I knew the prices would be crazy.
Fortunately the 6 y/o we traveled with was facing the other direction, lol.

I got the polar bear, not Brulee. The bear is very well stitched and has a nice furry fabric for the skin. It also has moveable arms and legs whereas many plushes don't. It was supposed to be a gift for my daughter but I'm keeping it, hee hee.

Yeah, I don't know if I'll spend that much for it. We'll see how I feel after a few glasses of wine one night while we are there. 😁

Hi all!

Is it worth getting an ADR if we just want cake and coffees? Or should we just get them at the bakery and sit somewhere on the boardwalk...?

Personally, I find the BW lacking in seating, especially shaded or sheltered from rain, etc. So I’d book an ADR in the restaurant, especially if I wanted to enjoy my treat leisurely.

I see lots of people order bakery goods and sitting either at the tables outside of Cake Bake, or even wandering down to the Pizza window seating area and tables in front of Trattoria or AbraCadabar during the day when those are closed or not active...all of those have some shade or umbrella options making them very popular for anyone getting food on the boardwalks. If it's early evening, not too hot, overcast, or you just like sun, there are always the benches and seating on the waterfront side of the boardwalk.

Wondering how things are doing, and if they have calmed things down...

We ate their once, and our family's view was we would come back, but not until the kids are older...

Still prefer Flying Fish (Café), Todd English's bluezoo, and Yachtsman in that part of town... and probably in that order...

I can’t speak to lunch or dinner there but it’s probably the best breakfast on property at the moment. I have another one booked in a couple of weeks.

I also don’t think any of those restaurants are a fair comparison to make with Cake Bake tbqh. Those are all very different places doing very different things compared to it.

I generally agree with you. CB was pretty much a one and done for us.

I don’t remember whether the coupon says dining only on the back but I don’t think so. I did use it in bakery and bought 2 slices of cake. The girl at the register didn’t recognize the coupon but the manager showed her how to ring up the purchase and I used the coupon.
Sorry all, late to the party, but what book is this where there is the 20% off coupon? We will be there 12/29/25 with a group of 10 for lunch so it could save me quite a bit.

My two cents for what it’s worth: I think CBS is a fine addition to the Boardwalk. Have actually eaten their products at three meal times.

Breakfast was a grab and go from the bakery and eaten at one of the tables outside which thankfully had an umbrella for shade. Had a warm waffle w/ real maple syrup (none of that overly sweet pancake syrup which has become too prevalent, IMO). It was so good I could almost eat breakfast on a regular basis, lol.

Dinner here one night after Luminosity fireworks and it was the perfect end to the evening. Shared a green salad and it was so large the leftovers became the base for another night’s salad. The chicken and sausage gumbo was definitely on point and we shared a blueberry lemon and buttercream cake for dessert. I still prefer the raspberry and champagne cake but I’d never turn my nose up at the first one.

Nice to know this spot is nearby when needed.

Many great coupons to Disney Springs shops and dining locations. Definitely worth price of book.
