Feeling guilty, need to confess...

Tonight some friends came over to fix our computer. BF wanted to thank them by taking them out to dinner, which is fine, I was thinking the same thing. So what does he suggest, knowing full well about my program and also semi-being on the program himself? He suggests ramen. I say, "I can't eat that." And he goes, "Oh, yeah."

But, I know these friends like to eat noodles, so I just gave in and said, "Okay, I'll just take the carb blocker (pills)."

I tried not to eat all of the carbs, and I made sure I didn't eat everything on my plate either. Then I realized afterward that I'm probably going to be out of ketosis and will have to make up for it by doing a few protein-only days (I can usually eat veggies and fruits).

UGH! I should have suggested another restaurant. Anyway, I am done feeling sorry for myself, and will now go into solution-mode. I also know now that I will be armed with an alternative place to eat! (And I "scolded" BF for suggesting the ramen place to begin with.)

Thank you for listening!

Hey, don't beat yourself up so much! It was just one meal and you know what you need to do to get back with the program. Just make sure that you do get back on track, that's the only bad thing. Sometimes when I eat something that I shouldn't it makes me just want to eat a bunch of stuff that I shouldn't so just make sure you hop right back into your program and you'll be fine! ::yes::
