Feeling guilty about taking kids out of school for vacation.

We have taken our kids out of schol a number of times for a Disney vacation.
We gave the teachers tons of notice and they not only understood, but put packets together for the kids to stay on track. Most schools understand that family time is rare and important.

trust me when i say you should go and have a great time, guilt-free. They willl remember this vacation forever and it really is ok at their age to be out a week. With me and my sister being seniors in high school and my brother in 8th grade it is impossible to pull us out a week! I can understand where you are coming from feeling guilty because i probably would to but trust me go and have a fantastic time!!! oh and a suggestion i got out of school in 5th grade to go to wdw and my teacher instead of making me make up a weeks worth of homework had me do an alternate assignment, i kept and colored a journal for the week. i dont know it that would be possible for your kids but it might be worth asking!
