That was our veranda!!! It was amazing we enjoyed it so much The actual cabin was amazing as well .. keep in mind it was an accessible room.. it was a wonderful choice and a definite pick again! It was a corner room as well. Very roomy!!! She could wheel around with no issues. The cabin also has 2 tvs!!!

And to think I thought it was possibly a silly question, a la that can not be their private terrace. Just LOVE it.

I would put that sucker on a t-shirt or a nightgown or something, with the caption, Yep! That's right - All ours!

What a great idea!!!! Its definitely a cabin I would select again! My older DD had an inside cabin so she enjoyed coming over and hanging out <3 The cabin also had 2 tvs which was great! It was absolutely perfect!

Today we are having out together. We got her up in her wheelchair for a bit. The chair is a tip and tilt, by tilting it allows the pressure on her wound to change. So we thought its best to gibe it a shot! I hope to take her outside for a walk as the sun is out and it has warmed up. Its great to get her out of her bed and room. Good for the mind and soul <3
We are still waiting on appointments for a CT scan and MRI to have another look at the tumour in her abdomen, I wish we had that answer. Its like 3 steps forward and 4 back.. seems unfair

Good day friends,

Today DD will have a home nursing visit. Roy time day, wound care and dressing change. Hopefully we see some positive progress! It’s still 8 cm deep the hole is still there. Dreaming of the day it finally closes over and fills in. The province we live in is battling awful fires and over a massive area. We are safe from the fires .. they are about 1.5 hours from where we live. Seeing all the devastation on the news is heartbreaking. The fires are still burning out of control and areas have been evacuated. Praying for all involved. Enjoy your Monday folks

My day has finally finished 11:35 pm! It was a long one. My DH ended up in the emergency room this morning, he had a heart attack. I spent the day trying to run between the hospital, home and work. Somehow I got it all done! My mom is my saviour, she is 85 but always here to help! She stayed with DD all day. Mom is not able to do her care but is able to be on in the house and make sure all is safe. My DH has been admitted to the hospital and is waiting to be transferred to the city for a due test to locate the problem. I had to cancel nursing what a challenge doing wound care alone tonight! Again, I got it all done! Older dd had to chaperone a school dance tonight and DS is working in the city for a member of parliament for the summer. DS is coming up tomorrow after work to help care for his sister, he can’t do personal care but is a great help for meals and wound care assistance. DD will be in after she gets off school as she is a special education assistant. Tonight I am in my bed alone.. all is quiet except dd’s equipment. I pray tomorrow is a better day. Geezzz this day got flipped upside down! DH’s birthday is tomorrow, what a way to spend it! Thanks for the vent .. much love

Thank you! Yesterday was extremely stressful and difficult.. but I did it!!! Today I had a better flow on the day. My kids helped with care and my mom stayed with dd too!

Thank you! We are safe from the fires and thankful for that. DH had an awful night, he is having trouble maintaining his oxygen. They called icu and decided to give him some extra oxygen. Today he maintained his stats on room air. He has not been transferred to the city because of the fires. Possibly tomorrow My DD is floating along, with help from my mom, DD and DS! We made a schedule tonight to plan her care, hopefully that makes the days/nights flow better!
