I have to leave my yard of 17 years and move! 17 years of compost and plantings!! I have vinca, hydrangeas, jasmine, honeysuckle, azaleas, crepe myrtles, roses, iris, peonies, fountain grass, Japanese maples, river birches, daffodils, elephant ears and a vast amount of daylilies.
My mother passed away and left me her home about 7 miles from here. My plan is to "hack away" today and take about half of every daylily I have and do an immediate transplant to new garden. Anyone have any experience doing this in the spring?
I feel pretty sure the coneflowers and rubekia will handle this with ease, but not too sure about the others. Any ideas?
