I need opinions. We've been to WDW several times with our older two DS but this year will be the first with all 3 DS. We have typically done a few ADRs but felt we needed those breaks this time around to take a chill moment. Our kids will be 8,6,2 so here is what we have and notations
11/21: arrive
11/22: Tusker House breakfast : keeping for sure as wanted a Mickey Mouse meal for 2 year old and we've never eaten here
11/23: H&V lunch: this is a ? mark. We've done it before they changed the characters but not sure if it's worth it.
11/24: Via Napoli dinner
11/25: Ohana dinner : not sure if keeping this either. Mixed reviews and feel by this day we may need an early evening an recharge
11/26: LTT lunch. Wanted something different in MK for lunch or dinner than CS,
11/27: 1900 Park Fare breakfast. Keeping for sure and Cape May Cafe dinner for Thanksgiving

That's it. What would you do? Opinions please. Still debating on keeping an eye out for CP although we've done it and CM.

We typically do one ADR per day, so your plan looks fine to me.

I really like LTT for lunch. It is a nice mid-day break. We will be going there on our upcoming trip.

When we go in the fall, I will pick a MK day that is the same day as a hard ticket event. There are usually lower crowds on those days in MK. Then I will book a resort dinner (usually Ohana) around 7:00. We then have an earlier evening, take advantage of lower crowds, and relax at a nice dinner. Ohana is my husband's favorite.

I would say you don't need CP because you'll see Tigger and Pooh at 1900 PF.

We've only eaten at H&V once. We thought it was OK. If you aren't crazy for the characters, consider 50's Prime Time. That is our favorite HS meal.

FWIW, my kids favorite character meal is Garden Grill in Epcot.

We do one TS per day too. If your looking to cut, id ditch HV.. Yuckey food and not worth the money in my opinion. We love the vibe and ambiance of Ohana, and are going for breakfast this time. We typically do dinner, but are trying something new this trip. :goodvibes

We just did HV for lunch a couple of months ago. The food has improved from passed visits. Seems like food got revamped with the characters. If you DS 2 is a girl then definitely go, but otherwise it may not be worth it for just Jake.

We were there in April and went to Ohana for dinner. I did not care for it. Either did my husband. The food was very greasy, the meats, the noodles...all of it. I actually got ill that evening from the food. I just read a thread the other day where this family actually got up and left because not only the food was terrible but so was the service. We're a family of three and have totally different likes and dislikes but we were all please with Teppan Edo and Cape May Café. Via Napoli is also very good, as is the other Italian restaurant right next door that I can't remember the name.

We do one ADR a day as well. If I find early in the trip its not working I'll just cancel later ones. Ours are all the M&G ones I think my youngest will love it! When we took a 2yo she adored the winnie the poo characters the best.

I have only done day trips as I live in FL. The last trip we took was one day and we had an ADR and it was nice.
Currently planning a 5 day trip with one ADR per day (actually 2 on our non park day) and I think it'll be nice.
I may add an ADR for BOG but that's just because I hear the line is long.

I think you'll enjoy one per day. It's a nice rest/recharge.

I think you might be right about canceling 'Ohana and wanting a recharge. But, you can take a wait and see on that, just make sure you cancel before 24 hours.

I like a good sit down meal each day, but this last trip I cancelled BOG late in the trip for the same reason, we were getting run down. We all appreciated out Contempo Cafe takeout in our room that night more than dragging to a park for dinner.

The other meals seem pretty well integrated into your touring plans, so I would keep them. Even H&V, since there isn't much by the way of decent food to be had in HS anyway.

We have done HV in the past and weren't that impressed but last month we did lunch there since DS2 loves those characters. Best food we had the entire trip. We couldn't believe what an improvement the entire buffet was. Typically buffets are buffets to me, you are paying more for the characters than the food, but we all thought it was really good.

Ohana has really gone down hill. I would probably skip that one. It is expensive, slow, and the food just isn't that good. Shame too since it used to be a favorite. I also think I would skip Via Napoli too. Nothing special there. Other than that, I think the choices look good for a family of your make up.
