Booked at BCV in Sept. Been to regular YC in 99 and absolutely loved it. Will we be disappointed with the BCV? Taking 15 mo old son so we booked a one bedroom. Any chance of upgrading to a 2 bed? Any suggestions on views?

I haven't stayed at YC but have at BC which is pretty much the same other than color scheme.

A one bedroom at BCV is so much nicer I can't begin to tell you! Tons more room, a whirlpool and seperate shower, washer and dryer, full size refrigerator, king size bed, seperate living room.

I don't know about the upgrade to a 2BR but if I were traveling with a 15 month old I wouldn't want one anyway. The second bedroom is on the other side of the living area and I wouldn't want my toddler that far away. Check the wdw website for room layout and it might help you.

If you enjoyed staying at the YC then you will have a fabulous time at the BCV. In a one bedroom the amount of room compared to YC will be awesome. You might end up buying into DVC, its hard to go back to a 'regular' hotel room after that!

We stayed at the BCV last month on a cash reservation. We had a 1 bdrm and our friends had a studio. We loved the BCV and the 1 bdrm. The room was wonderful and it was sure nice to throw clothes in the washer in the morning, put them in the dryer in the afternoon. We came home with no dirty laundry. We also cooked breakfast for all 8 of us in our room and had loads of fruit in the frig for snacks. The bathroom was great with the seperate tub and shower and the little closet with the potty. I HAVE to talk my DH to buying into DVC!! Being able to put the kids to bed and have a space to go and not bother them was great. I would like to try a 2 bdrm next time so DH and I could stay in the living room when the kids go to bed, but we had the balcony off the bedroom so it was not bad at all.

We just got back from six nights at the BCVs. It was wonderful. The two kids slept on the sleeper sofa and Dad and I got the king bed which was great. With your toddler, you could use the pack and play (we found it inside the chest used for a coffee table) and put it up in your room. Unless you are bringing more people along, I don't see why you'd even need the two bedroom.

I agree that with a 15 month old, I wouldn't want a 2 bedroom. In most units the second bedroom is across the entry - pretty far away. I think that with the Pack 'n Play in the bedroom, you will love it. You can put the little one to sleep and still enjoy your time together in the living room in the evenings. Whatever you decide, you will love the BCV. Have a great time!
