Febuary 07 Discount Codes

Squirrel,

I know what you're talking about. I had to call my AAA agent today and tell her about the code. I first called Disney today myself to find out how much I would save. They gave me a better price than AAA so I then called AAA agent and told her to apply the code. She calls me back "oh they can't do it it's only for Std rooms" (we're staying at POP) I said NO they gave me a better price for Pfd. then she said no more rooms for for discount. I said I just called and they have availability. I said ok and took her word for it (yeah right) I called Disney myself again they had availability for Pfd room with the discount. I booked it then called her. In the meantime she was trying to call me (I saw it on call waiting/caller id). She left a message that if I wanted to I could get a disc at a moderate and stay there with 5 of us in the one room (no thankyou). I called her back there is avail. for pfd with the discount. I want to cancel my reservation with you and book my own. Then she said I would lose my trip insurance payment Disney said I have 14 days to cancel (I just paid yesterday). I told her I already made a new reservation I don't need AAA she said what's your new reservation # and she would apply it to the AAA existing one. I said what are the benefits with booking with AAA when I'm doing all the legwork myself. I don't even know what she said etc. But anyway she applied the disc. to the AAA ressie. I am like are you kidding me why didn't you know about the discount and how come when you call there's no avail and it's only for std room? she said that AAA gets a different code.

Bottom Line: Call Disney yourself tell them the code they'll look it up. Mousesavers has the code on the website. Get your own price for where you want to stay, tickets, dining etc. Compare it to your AAA price and take it from there. Hopefully you'll save some money. So far my AAA agent has been completely useless and that's the honest truth!!

I did call Disney. They couldn't do anything for me either because the only rooms with the code at a Moderate hotel was at CBR but there were only king rooms they said.

Booked vacation package for 2/14 - 2/20 at POFQ standard view and received park hopper and water parks and more add on for FREE!

We are only staying one nite at POP (2-17) and got the AAA rate for the room. We are also Disney Visa and AP holders. Do you think I can get a better discount. I think we're paying $113 for the one night. We don't have a package/tickets. We just need the room.

I had:
POFQ for 6 nights; 6 day Base Ticket plus dining. 2 adults, one child. My total was $2141.27

The FIRST time I called and used the code (the day the Visa code came out), I got (forced) upgraded tix, and a total of $2119.43
OK, so I saved about $20 and got upgraded tickets I won't use...oh well, $20 is $20, right?

Well, today I just wasn't satisfied, so got online, and noticed my quote was considerably different using the same offer! With further digging, I find they had ADDED insurance back into my quote w/o telling me. So, I actually got upgraded tickets I won't use, and saved $140 (once I cancelled the insurance)!

I'm happy with the savings, but sort of ticked off that I was paying for insurance I had already refused once!

Keep your eyes open when modifying, folks!! :)

I'm excited and wanted to share... We had a room-only ressie at POFQ booked for 2/19-2/26. Today, I went through a link I found on another thread for the general code and I got POFQ for my dates plus 7-day park hoppers! I saved $206 off the original quote I had gotten for the room and 7-day base tickets plus we're getting free park hopping now!

When I first booked the room-only, I ended up transferring my ressie to a TA at Small World - now she's on vacation until 11/13, so I went ahead and booked the discounted package today and will then transfer the ressie to her and she can handle the rest from here. She's already done work for me in getting/changing our ADR's, so I do feel obligated to transfer the ressie to her.

Now, I have to focus on changing all my plans on which parks which days since we can now go to more than one in a day!

This is probably a dumb question, BUT if I booked online and I have my confirmation, I am 100% guaranteed a room for my dates at POFQ, right???

we are going the end of Feb begining of March what are the odds of getting a GP code for peck season? :confused3

I'm happy to report that yesterday my AAA agent called ME (not vice versa) to tell me about the discount and automatically rebooked us - didn't save a lot (about $73 total) but I'm still excited. We saved a couple hundred already by booking through AAA, so I'm more than pleased.

Last trip we used Small World Vacations and while I was very satisfied, when discounts came out, my agent wasn't that quick to get back to me.

My AAA agent emailed me yesterday to say that we had qualified for the code for our visit (2/18 - 2/24) and that she had already applied it. We saved $158 -- enough to pay for our breakfast with Cinderella! Not a huge savings but every little bit helps!

We had great news too!!

We had originally wanted to stay at the Coronado but it was 'sold out,' so we booked POR.

WELL!! Got an email from Stephanie at Small World and we are now booked at the Coronado with a water view room AND upgraded passes (we just had hoppers, now we have all the water park...etc.. options) AND a water view room for $250 LESS than our standard room at POR!!!

I have read the whole thread, and please let me clarify and make sure I'm reading this correctly..............

So far the only codes out in November are for Visa cardholders, Annual Pass holders, and Florida residents............is that right??

Nothing for the rest of us? thanks

No the codes are now for everyone. The first 2 days the code comes out for the Visa Cardholders then they announce that its for the general public.

For the love of PETE!! How did I miss that?!?! Has anyone been able to apply the code online or do you have to call? thanks

Question: Can you combine AAA discounts with the general public code? I'm trying to decide if it is worth renewing membership and booking through AAA or just going back to small world. Thanks in advance, I'm reallllllly praying for some pixie dust to allow me to go on a birthday trip with my bf. I haven't been to the world since last year and i'm dying LOL!

I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations and was unable to use the discount for AKL. When I tried to do it online the only spot available was for Fort Wilderness Lodge.

Darn it! I meant to get in there and get the discount but completely flaked on it. Oh well.

Edited to add: I'm referring to the discount that was originally for the Visa Cardholders.

I believe the code for the MYW package with a AAA reservation is ZCG.

You can only use one code or discount. AAA or code offered, not both. Hope you get to have your birthday in WDW. Here's some pixie dust, hope this helps. pixiedust: pixiedust:
