We too are heading down 2/3-2/10/07 went ahead and booked CBR w/dining package with AAA discount but we have a great TA and she is checking every week for a lower rate than what she got us. I'll let you know if i hear from her.

Do you know where all the twirlers (is that a word ) will be staying?? Is it a large group?? I'm suprised they'd bring a large group in around Presidents weekend, I've heard it's crazy busy then.

We stayed at the ASM this Feb. while the "twirlers" were there and there were a lot of teenagers staying there. Sometimes they were pretty noisy at night around the pool and outside the rooms and on the bus! No real problems.....just lots of giggling, chattering teens!

thank's for the info and the welcome, if I calculated correctly, my family and I will be at Disney around the same time. I've never been there, my wife is already saying I'm talking about it too much, and I changed from a off site resort, West gate Lakes resort, to an on site ,Port Orleans Riverside. bit more money, but first time stay on the resort to "add to the magic".
I'm not sure what to do to prepare, so I'm finding all of you folks very helpful and look forward to taping into the wealth of knowledge that you all seem to have amassed.

So glad I found this board! We are booked through Stephanie at Small World and got a much better rate than disney...fingers crossed that there will be a great code for an even BETTER deal! We are going Feb 4-12, we wanted to stay at the Coronado but it was FULL!?? I was shocked...must be those darn twirlers...lol! So...we are staying at POR instead.

Wow! I was told that the hardest thing to get into was the Round Table. My girls are having b-days while we're there and I called last night and got a lunch reservation @ the round table as well as Dinner @ 1900 Park St.

Been subscribing waiting for the discounts! We picked this time (Feb 2-11), because it says the crowds are low, but seem to see alot of people talking about hotels being sold out! Does anyone know if something is going on at this time. We were careful to avoid President's Week, Nascar & Mardi Gras, what else could there be??? Anyway, this is our 4th trip in 4 years around this time, and crowds or not it's still the BEST PLACE ON EARTH!

The parks are not crowded this time of year, as long as you go before Pres Day week. We went Feb 9-16 and it was GREAT. I think what they do is not release ALL of their rooms.....since it is value season they aren't going to be 100% staffed, so as a result, their rooms won't be booked at full capacity. I have read that here on the DIS multiple times, I don't know it from personal experience.
