Please help me out, not sure when we should plan our next WDW trip! We usually go toward the end of April and the weather has always been beautiful. However, with Easter falling in April next year, I feel kind of weird about having the kids out of school for spring break, and then having them miss school again 2 weeks later (I really don't dare to go over their actual spring break, which is the week following Easter).
So I am thinking maybe February, but wondering how the weather will be? I looked at some charts and it said the average temp is 70ish but I'm wondering how accurate that is? Is it warm enough to wear shorts during the day, and do you wear sweatshirts at night? Or do you need jackets? We are coming from Wisconsin and we have long hard winters so when we go on vacation we want to be warm, lol. Last time we went to WDW was in November and we wore shorts and hoodies during the day a lot of time...that was nice but I wouldn't want to go in Feb. if it was cooler than that.

. We didn't have to lug water and misters with us either, so it is a trade off. One day there was actually ice cycles on the birds outside of the Living Seas! I would have preferred it warmer, but the only time we were miserable was when it rained one day. Just check the weather forcast and bring coats, mittens etc. so you won't have to pay outrageous Disney prices when you get there.
His teacher didn't even give him homework--she said that occasional 'life experiences' are far more valuable than anything he could learn in the classroom.
That said, my older son is very advanced (not bragging, just stating a fact) and he could probably miss half the school year and not miss a beat. With my younger son I already know I will not pull him out for a week once we get past Kindergarten because he wont be able to 'afford' to miss a week.
