February PTR 2012

The plan this trip is to take things a little slow.
Relax in the hotel a little, and stop to smell the roses...
We rushed around like crazy people on our last trip in October, I was trying to show the DH everything
I thought he would enjoy in 7 days... and of course, it didn't quite work out...

This time, we're going to explore the world showcase more,
maybe take in a few shows, and check out at least one of the mini golf courses...

Therefore, we've only (officially) planed four of our park days

SUNDAY its Epcot
TUESDAY its rope drop at MK
WEDNESDAY its early rise to HS &
FRIDAY its the AK

the remaining days will be spent doing whatever tickles our fancy :confused3 downtown, swimming, park hopping, or resting in room....

So that's all for now folks, I hope you enjoyed reading! :thumbsup2

Great Pics! Will be there Feb 11-16 with a first timer. See you in Epcot on Sunday!

ahh, yes... I think I've seen you in the February thread. My prince had his first trip in October, I hope your's enjoys it as much as mine did.. I told him several times that we may have to get divorced if he didn't like Disney :rotfl:

Your schedule sounds a lot like ours! If our times are similar we might bump into each other.

We are there from 11-16, with a 9:15 arrival at MCO as well!

For us:

Saturday afternoon/evening is AK and DTD (dinner at Boma)

Sunday is Epcot (dinner at San Angel)

Monday is MK (dinner at 'Ohana <3)

Tuesday is either going to be MK or AK (dinner at The Wave and dessert at Ghiradelli)

Wednesday is HS (dinner at Olivias)

Thursday is our last day :(, but we will be back at HS before we fly out.

Whoo hoo! 9 days until we can check the 10 day forecast!

Have you gotten your Mickey Mail yet?

Have you gotten your Mickey Mail yet?

We did, I think we received it last Saturday, so that was like the 14th.
Just shy of the 30 day mark. Have you not received yours?

AND my ADR for Ohana is 7:55 on Monday :)

P.S. LMAO at the "in 9 days we can start checking the 10 day forcast..." I hadn't thought of it that way :lmao:

We still haven't gotten ours yet, but it looks like some people haven't been getting them until 2 weeks out! At least I forward to checking the mail. ;)

Our 'Ohaha ressie was originally at 8:15, but I changed it to 9pm so we could stay at MK a little longer and watch Wishes in the park. So close! I am already salivating over being reunited with the best dessert ever - Banana Foster Bread Puddingggggggg!

Also, totally random, but do you bring your camera equipment into the parks with you? If so, what type of bag do you bring with you?

I am bringing my DSLR for the first time and I am trying to decide which bag to use - either the Lowepro passport sling, or just buy a smaller insert to use in another bag. I need room for my park junk too, so I can't use my smaller bags.

I Sure hope it lives up to the hype... I sounds wonderful, I can't wait to try it! :thumbsup2

Actually I have never taken my good camera to the World before. I was seriously considering it on this upcoming trip, but I know the DH would prefer I leave it at home... I'm kinda clumsy, so he may be right. For the last two trips, 09 & 11, I just took my old school Nikon coolpix.
Sorry, I'm not much help with the camera bags.

I ate at Ohana in September 11'. It was the best food I ever put in my mouth :) It is the one reservation that I refuse to change at all. We will be there 23-march 5. DS is going to try Ohana this time. I have a 15 year old daughter that is driving me insane at the moment. She wants to stay home with grandma again when we go so she doesnt miss seeing her boyfriend. I think I liked having my son at 15 better :lmao:

I look forward to reading your entire trip report! I'm over on the Feb board, and you are my twin! Our trip is Feb 11-18 staying at CSR also. We fly in at 7am on the 11th. See ya there!!!
