For those of you who can offer some feedback on which month is preferred, I would appreciate it. Anything from crowds to weather to the possiblity of ealier/later closing times for the parks.

We have always gone in June or July, and have a great time, as we know going in that the parks are more crowded.

But in 2008 we are looking at experiencing WDW at a time that may be less crowded. We just aren't sure :confused3 if Feb weather (later in February) is unpredictable, or is May the better time.

So any feedback would be great. As I said earlier, we are looking at staying at the Poly.

Thanks again....

We went in both February and May this year. I had never gone in May before and we absolutely LOVED it! We went over Mother's Day weekend and did not feel the parks were crowded at all. However, this is compared to the crowds in February during President's week which are crazy! The weather was absolutely amazing in May. If you want to be able to swim or go to the water parks, go in May. We got up every morning and swam before heading to the parks. In February we swam in the afternoon, but my husband and I had to take turns with my daughter because we were actually quite chilly. In May we never even needed a sweatshirt. In February you never know, you might need a jacket and pants. :confused3 This year we decided not to take the chance with February weather and crowds and are going in April. (I'm a teacher so I have to go when I have a break). We are already planning a May trip for 2009 though - saving up those sick days ;) Have fun whatever you decide.

We were there late Feb and part of the days were cold-50's, and others in the 70's. We had jackets every mornign and evening. We had to pack warm cloths as well as summer but most days tshirts and pants with jacket. Some attractions closed during winter and the weather was not warm enough to enjoy pools.

February weather is too unpredictable. It is usually cooler. However we were there one year in Feb. and it was in the 80's everyday.
This year we were at WDW for last week of April and first week of May and the Crowds were virtually non-existent. May was the slowest week.
May is fantastic. The weather is hot and great for swimming, but not humid and uncomfortable like July and August. April is one of the driest months with very little rain. The beginning of May is also fairly dry.
