Were back ( well back saturday evening but my ds was ill ( fever) and so that took my attention and then /now I have the fever :sad1: but anyway enough of all that and on to the good stuff:

Highs:
Hotel room - we got a refurbished one in Sequoia Lodge with a lake view ( didn't pay for a lake view )

Meeting Mickey mouse - in the hotel as we have never met him before.

My DD saying 'This is the best mid term break of my life!!' - she's 7

Big Thunder mountain - this was the first time the kids went on it, last time myself and dd queued to go on it ( as ds was too small ) but it broke down :sad1: so we were thrilled that it was up and running this time.

My DS being made feel very special by being called the captain on star tours ( another first for DS as he is now tall enough)

Doing so much we didn't do before :), like the submarine, buzz lightyears lazer blast, captain EO, skull rock, Toy story Parashute jump and the cars ride in the studios park.

Lows: The tiredness the first day as we were up so early in the morning. I honestly nearly dozed off on pirates of the carribean

Little things like my dd's trousers were cutting her thighs and so I changed her into another pair but (forgot a belt) they kept falling down :guilty: but then being thrilled to find a minnie mouse belt in the shop in the hotel :dance3::dance3:

My ds was out of his routine and comfort zone and wouldn't eat a lot because ' its not like we have at home!' on the second morning I just had to take the lids off the fromais frais at breakfast and spoon feed him :rolleyes1 And them him falling a little under the weather with a fever on our last day and so luckily I had medicine with us which allowed him to enjoy his last few hours there.

An hour and a half wait for the paracute drop as it kept breaking down and we were too near the top to quit as it was our last ride before heading to the airport.

Sounds like a fab trip :thumbsup2 Lucky getting a nice room at SL :)

Glad your dd had the 'best mid term of her life' :goodvibes
