Get a discount on the dining plan (and maybe the room) when you book a package including a room at an official Walt Disney World resort, park tickets and a
Disney dining plan. Valid arrival dates are 1/1/19 – 3/9/19. Minimum stay is 3 days, and you must get 2-day or longer park tickets. As long as you check in on a valid date, you get the full discount all the way until the end of your stay (up to 14 nights).
- When staying in a Moderate or Deluxe resort, you must add at least the standard Disney Dining Plan and can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan. Cost to upgrade to the Deluxe plan: $40.76 per night for adults, $15.50 per night for children. There’s no discount on the cost of upgrading to a fancier dining plan.
- When staying in a Value resort, you must add the Quick Service Dining Plan but can upgrade. Cost to upgrade to the standard Dining Plan: $22.99 per night for adults, $4.20 per night for children. Cost to upgrade to the Deluxe plan: $63.75 per night for adults, $19.70 per night for children. There’s no discount on the cost of upgrading to a fancier dining plan.
The overall discount in the past has been primarily a 40% or so discount on the dining plan, sometimes combined with a very small (10% or less) discount on some rooms and room types. The tickets have always been full price. We are still evaluating the actual discount calculation and will update when we figure out how it works.
As always, the best approach is to get the final price with tax for your vacation with various options, or let your
travel agent do it for you. Don’t get fixated on the specific percentages; look at the actual all-in cost.
When booking super-popular offers like this one, it can be hard to get a long block of dates, especially at popular resorts. Weekends book up first. If you have trouble finding availability for your dates, see if you can get the discount if you drop off one or two days at one end or the other, and then book those few dropped days with a percent-off discount or even full price. If you select the same room type for both bookings, they should be able to keep you in the same room for the whole trip.

excludes Villas at Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower, Bungalows at Polynesian Bungalows & Villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, Little Mermaid (i.e. Standard) rooms at Art of Animation Resort, Campsites and 3-bedroom villas.
