Finally January is over, and we have moved a month closer to the Summer, so welcome to the February 'I'm going to fit into a bikini/tankini/swimsuit/shorts this Summer if it kills me' thread :rotfl::rotfl:

So, how was January for you ? Let us know how much you lost in January, how much you hope to lose this month and generally how you are feeling about your diet so far

I have had a very mixed month of dieting. I got straight back into my diet after Christmas and over the first 2 weeks lost the 6lbs that I had put on over the Christmas period

Since then, although I have been going to 2 or 3 zumba classes a week I have STS. I doubt I'll be weighing in this week as it has been my DD's 21st birthday this week and we have had family gatherings, a meal, 2 cakes and many cupcakes, with a meal tomorrow too, but all being well I will be back on track on Monday

Well I had managed to put on about a stone since last summer mainly due to comfort eating :goodvibes so I have just been eating sensibly and cut down on sweets and stuff, so far through January I have lost 6lbs, which is fine by me! I'd like to lose another 6-8 ish and then I'll be happy!

There is a new gym that has opened down the road from us and the membership is only £100 for the year including classes, they do Zumba and LBT etc so I'm also thinking about trying that. :)
 
So far this jan i have lost a total of 8lbs, really pleased with that and hope to end feb a full 1st lighter. Going to the gym and SW classes are really helping:thumbsup2

So far in January I have lost 4.4lbs ... still sticking to my calorie limit and using myfitnesspal ... hope to lose another 3lbs before my weekend away on 24th Feb .... I can't wait to feel better about myself. Hope everyone is fired up and motivated for february!

:blush: As I hinted at earlier this week, I have shyed away from weighing myself this morning due to a fun week of eating to celebrate my DD's 21st. I will be back on track from Monday ::yes::

Not sure how much I lost in January but I have knocked off another 2lbs this week. Running and watching the points is working again for me. Let's see what the rest of the month brings.

I am plodding along with the calorie restriction and weigh in tomorrow. Have too many meals out though in Feb .... DH is taking me out on Valentines night and on the 19th DD is 21, so we will be going out for a Teppanyaki meal. On the 24th we have a weekend away in London which will involve lots of food and drink I am sure.

I must try and up the exercise to accomodate these meals but I feel really tired all the time and sluggish at the moment which doesn't help. Dieting and having a social life just doesn't go well together and I feel I can only do it properly if I am a social recluse. :sad2: Anyone else feel a bit like this.

I still aim to lose another 3 lbs before the end of this month. I am looking forward to the lighter evenings when I can go for a walk. Roll on March :goodvibes

:wizard: Good luck with your weigh-in today Sarah. It was my DD's 21st last week and between party food, 2 cakes and 2 meals out I couldn't bring myself to weigh-in on Friday. I jumped on the scales this morning and had a bit of a shock :eek: so I will have to be very good and work hard at zumba to get back to how I was 10 days ago
